Purchased ultimate edition on XBOX series X - also possess EA Play - can open trial but it only provides tutorials, not access to any other parts of the game and tells me to upgrade the version of the game?

Same for me. I bougth ultimate edition and need to upgrade in the main menu, but it fails if I try to upgrade.
