pandzia68 If your game is crashing whenever you play that one household, then I don't know what else to suggest, unfortunately. I don't have enough knowledge about the game to break it down further than "move around some files and see whether you can isolate the problem." But if EA does patch the game, which it sounds like is a real possibility in the near future, I'd try playing the household again.
skillerskubb What exactly is happening: is the game crashing on launch, while you're playing, or something else? I do see that your laptop's graphics driver is from 2017. The newest one available is from 2020, which is still not ideal but better; you can find it in Microsoft's update catalog:
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=hd%20graphics%205500
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
I also notice that the EA App is crashing, so if updating the graphics driver doesn't help, try uninstalling the App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) and reinstalling it.

Please post in that thread including a dxdiag, as described in a few of my replies.
k93sbe That's not really enough information to go on, although ucrtbase.dll is a .NET resource. So try uninstalling and reinstalling your VC++ runtimes, as described here, under "Game won't launch":

If that doesn't help, please provide more information: a dxdiag, a description of the context of the game crashes, any other details that might matter.
