💡 Ideas > THINGS we want to see in The Sims 4 !!!

🎶 Music Festival event

I see Maxis is not inspired about city events and notifications become annoying so I propose to let the players create their own city events whenever they want.

For example the players could organize a Sims Session event, set the music genre/lot and the musicians/DJs who will play on stage.

A new City Event venue could be added with 4 templates like Community Space lot (EP09 Eco Lifestyle), the players could select the template to use for the event.

Would love to see another exotic island world. One with hotels and 64×64 lots. Curved staircases and slides for the pool. Sims 3 island living was epic and I'd like something similar. I'd also like to see fairies and maybe another magical world. Would be great to actually include proper unicorns in this and not have them part of the family. Glimmerbrook was such a letdown. 

Gameplay, astrology traits would be fun. Give the sims more realistic personalities and moodlets to go with it. Would be more of a challenge to keep them happy and needs fulfilled. Would be great to integrate this into relationships and compatability. 

⛅ Local weather

From the world map, the game could tell the current weather. Maxis did nice decorations to indicate the local Eco Footprint so it could be similar.

The Sims 2 was able to show the current weather, since Seasons EP has existed The Sims 4 is the first game without weather on the map. 

Maybe this can be a tweak in a future updat but I would like to be able to have a small business attached to my tiny home or on the same lot as my tiny home and once designated as small business not count towards tile limit for tiny home residential perks

This is Awesome!

We need a way for kids to learn the cooking skill. I remember in Sims 3 there was a kids stove they could use. They need to add that to Sims 4

lol i remember that and loved it. kids making little cakes on the child oven and selling them in the park on a Saturday. was a fun day out for the family

  • Smartphone : Airplane mode (off-the-grid mode)
  • Screenshot Capture Manager : Sorted by DD-MM-YYYY date format instead of US MM-DD-YYYY format.

I can picture that perfectly as a stuff pack like the knitting pack. "Little chef's cooking stuff pack"

I would like to see items for elder-toddler like a dexcom or diabetic monitors. I think it would also be nice to have wheel chairs in the game. I also think a faith pack or church expansion would be cool, the ability to be a pastor, build a church, have Christian or faith home decor, have a new trait of spiritual/religious. I think that the items listed above would really help the game to represent everyone.
