I made an airport in my game. It is actually a restaurant and bar, I imagine they go there to watch the airplanes take off and land. 😁 If they add such travel system in game as you suggest, would be nice if they could also add new pictures collection for a plane or train spotter hobby. Also, more travel posters and postcards.
They could also add several active type careers, like they did for the police station, and add aviation careers for ground staff and flight staff (ranks going from baggage handler, security, air traffic controller, air host/ess, pilot, co-pilot, etc.). Same for trains, we could have jobs like railroads engineer, ticket seller/controller, train conductor, etc. Also, a travel agency job would be nice too, where you can sell holidays.
That's really awesome! I truly hope they make it happen someday. It would be such a great opportunity to make The Sims feel more alive and connected again! I’ve been wanting a less boring loading screen for so long. Please, Sims team, hear us out! Adding commute travel by plane, boat, or car would bring such a fresh and unique vibe, even if it’s just going to a station, buying a ticket, and having a cool animated loading screen. I think it’s such a refreshing concept! 😭
