Cafeteria Worker & ThriftTea Vendor Bug

Question

In TS4 HSY, the cafeteria worker populates on the lot but then immediately leaves after. A worker will show up every time one leaves, but no one ever stays, and my teen sims can't eat lunch. I stayed after school for an exam prep, and I noticed that the cafeteria worker came back and stayed. So it looks like the bug only happens during school hours.

The vendor for ThriftTea just won't show up at all. Also, the only sims that show up are for comedy night?

Any ideas as to what is causing this? Thanks!

EDIT: So I went into a different save, and both the ThriftTea Vendor and Cafeteria Worker showed up in that save. I don't know how or why it's not working in my other one. Any ideas on how to fix this? I don't want to abandon the save because I've spent so much time crafting the storyline lol

The thriftTea vendor is supposed to be fixed. Can you try if one spawns if you replace the counter ?

No, it didn't work, unfortunately. And I saw on Discord that others were still having the issue after the update, too.&nbsp;:(

You mention that it's just a certain save. Someone in the cafeteria thread mentioned that their regular one had died and the game didn't spawn a new one. Could this be a possible cause for you ?

Hi!Cafeteria Worker: No, that's not possible for me. The cafeteria worker is still the same (Ava Harjo), and when she leaves at the start of the day, the same random sim comes to replace her, and they switch back and forth like that. Ava doesn't stay until the end of the school day. But no issue in a different preexisting save.ThriftTea: The vendor now shows up in another preexisting save, but the new problem is the notification spam and no customer who isn't a participant of the event, as mentioned in that thread.&nbsp;However, starting a new game completely fixed both issues.&nbsp;
