Cant play the game

I can make a household and pick where I want them to live and pick the lot I want but when I move them into the house it just takes me back into moving them in. I downloaded cc for the first time and made my sim but couldn't actually play the game. I have deleted that cc thinking it would do something but it did not I just want to play the sims please help me fix this🙏😖
