Constant bugs.. sims freezing..events glitching, etc.

So ever since this last update I am having constant issues. Sims freezing, items not being visible, events glitching and my sims getting stuck in one task, events not working (like animal adoption), roommate listing was never utilized by other sims, options being lost (items need cleaning but no options), game totally crashing, saves taking 5+ minutes, and community items not being playable even tho they have story lines. I have updated my laptop and it's up to date, specs are within the play range, my sims is up to date-- so that leads me to believe its bugs. its very annoying having to restart game very 20 minutes or less. bc like I said its taking 5+ minutes to save so its turning into a 10 min process to restart.
