Cottage Living bugs

Grim Reaper won't stop fighting with my evil chickens, it was 3 in game days before I finally just quit the game. ResetSim doesn't work. I did use MCCC to make him leave, but then he came right back and now I don't even have that option. I don't even know who's dying, it lets me save and doesn't say someone is currently dying, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Also, the oversized crops are working, but I'm STILL experiencing the issues with other plants reverting to mounds, except now it happens every single day at 6am, rather than every few days like before. I thought this bug was being addressed, but I don't know because it's actually worse than ever for me.

Also, my sims are standing around doing nothing even more than they used to. They constantly cancel actions to look at art on the walls, even though they aren't art lovers and I don't own Dream Home Decorator. 

I'm on a MacBook and yes I used mods, but I've tested and updated everything and I experience all of the mentioned bugs even when no mods are installed. 

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

It's basically making my Cottage Living save file unplayable, which I hate because I like the pack and would like to actually play it.
