Family tree in a new save

Hey! 

So I want to download the newest version of the Ultimate Save, however the last time I did that the family tree didn't recognize the previous Sims. I have my Sim- Veronica which is 4th gen., but in the in-game system it's the 2nd....

Anyone knows how to restore (if possible) and MOVE THE HOUSEHOLD WITH THE FAMILY TREE INTACT TO A NEW SAVE?
