gallery issues

I play on Mac, and I have been having this issue for a while. My Gallery either doesn't come up at all, or it comes up, but what I can see is limited, or it will be really laggy, or it just stops working. It doesn't work more times than it does, so I just don't even try anymore. I honestly can't even tell you the last time I even thought of attempting to open the gallery.
