[NCQE] Enigma of the Cove Rocks?

The rocks and plants can take up to 12 hours or more to spawn after you first go to an area.

Thanks for this. It was good to know that it doesn't have to be in the cove. Still no idea what happened to all the rocks around the worlds but I did eventually manage to find a single rock after travelling around long enough. Even Oasis Springs, just like you said, normally has so many rocks. Now it has two dirt paches. So weird.

I had the same problem...Then I read this thread and tried looking for a dig spot in Oasis Springs, went to the park there and found a dig sport, so that worked...the very next task had my sim return to Founders Cove to view the tree there...and when my sims gets there, I find a dig spot right next to the tree (see pic below). I am not sure if it's because I reloaded the FC, loaded into a different lot, or just had to wait longer for it to appear. Problem solved and I'm glad i never have to worry about this bug again. so sad.

I also struggled with this. I had to do a lot of back and forth travel. Travel to foundry cove, home, immediately back to the cove, home and so on... Basically resetting the map in a way until one day I lucked out and found some rocks. Don't give up! Good luck!

Try travelling to another world, and look for the rocks there. The task can be completed in another world. Some simmers have found Oasis Springs Park a good place to find rocks.

In the nature's calling event week two, there is a task to "Dig up some rocks" in Foundry Cove. There are no rocks in Foundry Cove or a matter of fact anywhere in any neighbourhoods in the world. I don't know when this happened but for a while now only dirt patches spawn in the worlds. No rocks or rocks with crystals. I only notices this few weeks ago when I started to try play the crystal creation pack content. Any idea what to do to fix this? Now I cannot do anything else in the event because I cannot finish this task. I already tried staying in Foundry Cove for number of days and always digging up the dirt patches when they spawned hoping something else would spawn another day but all I get is dirt. I have tried this in other neighbourhoods as well with the same results.

Yeah this is pretty stupid.. the questline for "Enigma of the Cove" tells you to go to Foundry Cove in Willow Creek. Tried to give the game a chance, since it's the buggiest game ever I try to keep patience. Tried for 3 days to wait, kept popping by to see if they would appear checked every single dig site I could, eventually gave up checked to forums and immediately went to Oasis Springs park found it within a second.

**MINI RANT**
Its absolutely frustrating, mods get blamed for half of EAs issues, I keep them up to date and have never had an issue with the mods enabled, it's always an EA issue. Now I'm dealing with my trash cans not working which started issues with EA's last update and they can't even get their event details corrects, yet they want us to spend more money on extra DLCs to bog down the game even more without fxing the issues within. This game is too old for this amount of mistakes, please EA fix your game like pretty pwease bro

Thank you all in the Sims 4 community space because without you all I would probably of lost my mind with the sheer amount of trouble shooting I've had to do lately.

I have searched the whole of Foundry Cove neighbourhood, each and every corner of it, multiple times during multiple seasons but rocks (rocks with gems) are for some reason not spawning at all. I am stuck at "Dig Up Some Rocks" quest of Nature's Calling event which requires you to dig rocks at Foundry Cove. Dig sites are spawning naturally but not rocks. It's very annoying.

kinda me too, but one finally showed up after the sim was on the lot for almost 24 hours. But I have also noticed that there are very few rock piles, used to be more of them on all lots, but hardly any now. I know not a fix, sorry

All rock pile were to find for rocks just disappeared from my game, so I cannot complete nature's calling event quest...
