Pet food bowls expired?

I have been experiencing this issue where my pet food bowls are "expiring". I know they dont expire, but after a certain amount of time they start to emit the green stench that can be seen when normal food expires. I dont think it affects my sims, but it keeps making me think a dish has expired somewhere when really it's just the pet food bowl acting up. Does anyone have any fixes?

rose84007&nbsp; The pet food does actually go bad if it sits for over a day and isn't eaten. You should empty the bowl and refill it, or your pet's likely to throw up after eating and I think will also be more likely to get sick.(And if you have an auto-feeder and the food keeps going bad, adjust the timer on it. It really only needs to be once or twice a day unless you have a lot of pets, or a glutton pet)&nbsp;&nbsp;
