Re: Communal Living and Active Sims

@kesaiserris, Well, if you have a Butler hired (comes with Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack) the Butler will live in your house but you won't be able to control him or her.🙂  Also, it is possible that there is a Mod that allows what you are asking for, but Mods require a lot of maintenance (they can become outdated every time EA updates the game, and when they are outdated they can cause a lot of problems in your game).  🤨

The easiest thing to do is to just control one Sim and never control the other Sims in the household. 😉  As long as your game has Autonomy turned on, then your Sims will do things on their own without your directing them. 🤨

Happy Simming! 🥳

  • I will test it out. I have tested it in earlier versions of the game but I had one Sim that even with autonomy would constantly pee their pants (even with accesses) and forget to eat/sleep. It was just that one Sim that seemed to have the intelligence of a house plant, it was such a high maintenance Sim because even with directions they had zero will to survive.

@kesaiserris, I can see why you are hesitant to leave your Sims to their own devices.🤨   Yes, they will sometimes pee themselves, or go to bed when they should grab a bite to eat first.  But they will not starve to death.  At least you can try, since it is easy and free! 😉

    Best of luck! 🤞
