Re: Gallery not working "No results"

Hi @Thelmas . The Gallery is definitely still functioning. Could you do a new test for me? Drag the Sims 4 folder to the desktop, start the game, start a new save, and screenshot the Gallery as it first comes up and then search results.

    Hello,

    First of all, I want to thank you for your response and your time.

    So I tried the new test you asked for. I moved the Sims 4 file to the desktop and restart the game.

    I really thought it was going to work because I got a new message from the gallery asking me to accept the terms of use (which I did) :

    (Sorry still in french)


    But once I enter the gallery, exactly the same problem occurs: it loads for a very long time then it shows me that there are no results :

    I therefore see that the problem does not come from my Sims 4 file and that probably no file in my saves is corrupt given that even if I remove them the gallery still does not work...
    If only I could at least understand where the problem was coming from...

    I'd suggest, then, one more Game Report before you move any of that folder content back. If that doesn't help, are you on a PC or a Mac? I can move you for techincal support.

    Sorry for my late response, this problem had irritated me, I moved on for a few months.


    But, since then, I have completely reset my computer, so I reinstalled the EA app again and the Sims and I realize that months later, starting from 0, the problem persists!

    I managed to contact EA Support, but the solutions I was given were only things I had already done.


    So I reinstalled my game, and I also did Repair as suggested but no progress, my Gallery does not work and it seems that I do not have access to any online content because I tried to connect my Twitter account from the game options and the connection would not work.

    So I'm at the starting point, I have no clue to this problem.


    I'm really annoyed because I used the Gallery very often, it's part of my recurring gameplay.

    Unfortunately no, I have no answer to my problem and I cannot contact EA.


    It appears to be related to my account rather than a computer or network problem. I tried connecting a friend's EA account to my computer, and his gallery worked just fine. When I log in again with my account, the gallery no longer works.


    I have no leads for this and am still waiting for help ☹️

    I paid for the game when it was released, I own more than half of the expansions, I deserve as much as the other players to take full advantage of all the features of the game.

    Please, I can't contact EA service, I would like someone to get back to me about this problem.

    Hi, the same thing happened to me around 2 weeks ago. However, I use cc and think it is a cc-related issue. But my sister, who also plays the sims 4, uses cc and her gallery is working fine.

    I have no idea why mine is not working. I am currently using a 50/50 method to identify the issue but when I have found the issue, I realise there is more cc that causes the problem to arise again.

    How do you contact EA Support or Maxis?

    Hello @estherigbinosa 
    The best solution I can provide you to easily check if the problem comes from the CC would be to simply uninstall them for a moment and see if your problem persists.
    That way you will easily know if the CC is responsible for this.

    Otherwise unfortunately, I have no way to contact EA Support or Maxis, my problem persists and I don't know what to do.
