Re: [Info Request] Sims moving

Do you really have to upload each room? Does that really work with penthouses? And how do you upload it?

@Kiki-Inuyoshyy Uploading each room then using them to overwrite the rooms in the apartment in the game you want to play should work, if it is missing its furnishings, as you said you wanted. Yes, this would be the only way to do this, as far as I know, if you are not able to upload or download the apartment as a lot. So... You would go to build/edit mode and make sure at least one of the walls is up on the room so you can more easily click a wall. Once you click any of the walls in the room the whole room should become highlighted/selected. With the room still highlighted/selected the option to upload the room to your library will be clickable. Click that, and the rest of the process is similar to uploading a lot to your library, but you will be asked to select a 'room type' for it. This will move a copy of the room into your 'My Library' tab in your gallery. From there you will be able to go into the other lot and download/place the rooms over top of the same rooms (one by one) into your current game's lot. The library will be the same and available in both of your games.

It is actually an apartment. If it was a penthouse you could upload the whole lot but it is not. So if you want to have them furnished as they were before the furniture was deleted then definitely do each room. You will have to open a new saved games to generate the furniture again. Do you know how to do this?
