With the reaper’s rewards one of the rewards is the green ladys tome. My sim got the tome and its supposed to raise your skill in cooking, gourmet cooking, and fishing at the same time. When my sims reads it it only raises the first two skills but not fishing. Anyone else having this issue?
I just watched that and I realized that the tome only works if you’re at least a level four and all of the skills that it works on
Depending on your current skill level it may not increase. My sim had maxed cooking so only Gourmet Cooking and Fishing increased. Fishing only by one level as it was already high. If your sim put the book away without finishing reading it you can just click on it again to finish reading it.
mine doesnt have max fishing tho

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unlock "The Green Lady's Lost Tome" and task a Child Sim to read it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Children Sims do NOT gain Fishing skill while reading "The Green Lady's Lost Tome."
What do you expect to see? Children Sims to gain Fishing skill while reading "The Green Lady's Lost Tome."
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
