prefacing by saying i do use mods and cc but my final test was with my entire mods folder cut pasted out and the problem persisted. basically everytime i make sim interact with say, a chair (sitting) or sleeping in a bed, napping, sitting on it etc you get the idea they stand in one place and the action continues finishing in the action bar anyway? they're not actually interacting with the furniture. screenshots attached
To repair the game if you are playing the game through Steam, open your Steam library, right click the Sims 4 tile, then select Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of the game files.
If you are playing it through the Ea app, go to your library, and on the Sims 4 icon there are 3 little dots in the top right hand corner. When pressing that, there is an option to repair.
Did all of that and the problem persists. i dont have a repair option on either steam or EA
Try resetting your sims 4 folder and test to see if the issue remains in a fresh new save game file, without any mods.
