The city is broken. Britechester

Hi. I know that many people have this problem now with the latest version of the game. With a completely empty mods folder, no city opens in the new save. In my case, it's a Britchester. I haven't tried to completely clean up the Sims 4 folder, but I'm sure it will help, because the game will be from scratch. They also wrote that it helps to disable the DLC "For Rent". However, the question is different. Are there other ways to solve the problem and are the developers aware of this?

    DU = Discover University

    But if the world is white, and there isn't a second one - had you built any residential rentals in that world? I know you are looking for an alternative to disabling For Rent, but if you have a corrupted lot, that may be what you need to do. Though there is also a less reliable possibility using Sims 4 Studio if you want to give it a try, and one of the commenters said they were able to use MCCC:
    [FR] White Screen when loading world with residential rentals | EA Forums - 5012933

    It sounds like the Sims team is still looking for saves to help them troubleshoot the issue. If you've never had mods/cc in that save, you could send it to EA_Solaire: [FR] White Screen... EA_Solaire

    I have only one Britchester. Just a white screen when entering the city and the only way out is to return to the main menu. What is DU?

  • So you can’t load the world? Do you see two copies in manage worlds, or just one? Did you try disabling DU and then reenabling it?
