ACCESS TO WATER

There are no Waterfront style lots in this world.

The Lake that Lakeview Apartments are named for? Literally, just a view. Can't even wade in it. It does have an "island" though (it's connected by a walkable spit to the mainland). An island with a mirror....

There are also several real islands in the ocean near each mainland, some of which may have treasures to find. A couple of them could also be good places to play at be Castaway, as long as you keep your camera facing away from the mainland. There are no lots on the islands, but there's enough open sand for a night or two's stay.


Swimmable Areas

There is access to the ocean (via the open street) from every lot in Ondarion but you might want a bike, broom or teleportation method if you live on the inland side of each region as it could be a bit of a hike.

The biggest beach in each 'hood is your best bet, as some of the smaller beaches are only accessible from the ocean side.

The swimmable/sailable areas are clearly delineated with a series of buoys, so you can see how far out you can go at a glance.


Fishing Spots

Verdemar - Verdemar seems to be the most fishing-friendly town, which makes sense as a home of pirates and adventurers. Both Starter lots are right next to fishing signs. One is an ocean fishing spot on small beach by the Fisherman's Hut starter home, and the other is a river fishing dock by the empty lot in the north of the region (The Lair in the Open-Air). There's a third sign by the lighthouse (left side of the marina on the map).

Dambele - There are two fishing signs in the same general area in Dambele. One each side of the main beach, on the docks. The region is a desert, so the inland water is Sim-made fountains and reflecting pools, rather than natural bodies of water with fish.

Bellacorde - The least fishing-friendly with only a single fishing spot on the pontoon at the marina, this region is more likely to sail on the ocean, than drag denizens from it. Far more high-brow.


New Boats

Sims can also sail and fish from the new boats. These look like small sailboats and come in a variety of hull (wood) and sail colours. They cost 2500 each, and are basically the same as the [IL] Island Canoes, but for rich/fancy Sims. They can also be placed on your lot as décor and wouldn't look out of place in other coastal towns like Brindleton Bay.

You mentioned we can't use the waterways does that mean the large waterfalls are off limits?

do the vending shops also spawn vendors? Or is it just selling tables? Because I know that in the EL marketplace, you’re able to put the coffee tent, does that also work here?

DYNASTY VALUES

Values are cross-pack compatible, so the more content you own, the more socials and activities you'll have for each Ideal, and the more Skills you'll have to pick from to "specialise" your Dynasties.

Tips

When picking Dynasty Values I recommend deciding on Ideals first, and then Skills to fill the most obvious gaps. There is a lot of overlap and occasional conflicts sometimes, depending what you pick. E.G. You don't need Charisma set as a Skill if you already have Diplomacy as an Ideal, as Diplomacy has Charisma basically covered already.

For your first Ideal try choosing one thing ALL/most Dynasty Members do to some extent (like one of the social options). For the second & third Ideal pick something that some members do regularly, such as ones that includes Dynasty Member's jobs. If you are having a hard time picking between them, then go for whichever suit the Head & Heir over the other Members, as they earn more Prestige for doing the activities - They also lose more Prestige from negative Value interactions and Scandals. Outcasts get the least consideration as they earn the least Prestige (but also lose the least when acting out).

Follow the same general idea when picking Skills. One used by ALL/most Dynasty Members (but not included in any of the Ideals chosen), and then the other two slots can be picked to fill any gaps, again giving preference to the Head & Heir if tied between options to maximise Prestige earnings. 


Ideals

Ideals are general attitudes/vibes and cover a lot of interactions that both are and aren't listed in their tooltips. Once you've set your ideals I advise looking through what socials/actions are approved in Live Mode before narrowing down the Skills you want to add to fill gaps.  Like with Club Activities, interactions that reflect Dynasty Values will be tagged with green (positive) rosette icons, and those that oppose Dynasty Values will be marked with red (negative) rosettes.

Skills are cross-pack, and I think I've seen most of them (I couldn't find Pet Training for one Dynasty though). Some skill activities will be included in one or more ideals, such as Medium Skill being included in the Mysterious Ideal, so pick your Ideals first and then Skills to fill remaining gaps and "specialise" your Dynasties. Some of the Skills, like Logic, offer unique ways to perform a Coup on the Dynasty Head.

I was surprised about the boats. I did not expect to get boats. I wonder if they will be adult only like the island living ones or usable by children like the adventure awaits ones. 

You already answered one of my questions, so I might be too late with this one, but I keep wondering about the throne object.

Assuming only sims in the nobility career can interact with it, but will actually a level 1 noble hold Court and knight others??

My simple question is whether the throne object is restricted to the top levels of the nobility career, and if so - what level is required for the general options?

Love the Clandestine Lot trait, first time I hear about it.  The new Market venue sounds nice too.

Since Emma hasn't been able to pull the sword, I'll add some info about it here:

• Simcalibur is unique object you can only get once.
• You are able to put it back if you no longer want it
• It's part of the collection.
• Extra Interactions on the Sword
  • Simcalibur's Radiance: Gives you a Radiant Aura Moodlet, Confident for 8 hours
  • Ascend to Kingdom Leader: You become Level 10 instantly. My Sim was already Level 10 though so I can't really say what happens
• Interactions after you pull the Sword on the stone: 
  • Where is the Sword: Gives you a notification who owns the sword
  • Return Sword: Returns Simcalibur to the stone for another Sim to pull.

Thanks for clarifying. What do you have to do or what expectations do you have to meet to pull Simcalibur off of the rock?
