Sims 4 july 10th update still not fixed

I am not able to use any cooking mods or cook anything from the base game. The menu on how to use the keys covers a portion of the screen. I can only place certain objects in certain places. The update only fixed the minor stuff, but not everything. When I try to pull up a menu for food or anything else, the menu does not show up, freezes, or I cannot exit the menu unless I reboot the game.
