Sims 4 Won't Load; Cannot Get Past Loading Screen

Ever since the latest game update I am unable to get past the loading screen on Sims 4. I do generally play with mods, but have tried to repair the game / remove all mods and play from a completely new save, and I still cannot get past the loading screen. I have lost three years of gameplay, because of this issue.

This never used to be an issue until we were all moved to playing via the app and not disc. I play on mac so have attached a system report.

    It takes nearly 5 minutes for my game to load these days.

    I am also having the same issue and have also lost so much of game play with these constant issues. I also just purchased both of the new stuff packs. This is ridiculous, EA and the sims should face some sort of penalty with all these issues and people spend so much money on these games. So annoying.

    6c1jbw3xfot9meeshwoodI'm just glad it's not just me. I've followed all of the discussion points. I don't use reshade, uninstalled mods, played in a clean save and I'm still having the same issue. I completely agree - the complete lack of response that people are having issues since the update annoys me too.
