BASE GAME THERE- BUT WON'T DOWNLOAD NEW EXPANSION PACKS

Hey!

I'm hoping someone here can help me, I have just bought the Cottage Living and University Life from CDKeys (done this plenty of times before with 0 issues) however, when I've entered my product code for these games the EA app is telling me I need the base game to play my expansion packs? I already have the base game downloaded with several expansion packs already on there so I am a bit unsure on what to do to solve this :(
