Game Constantly Crashing

I own all the DLC's; i have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, removed caches every single fix known to this forum and reddit. my drivers are current and up to date, my pc is brand new (purchased in july) and above required specs. My game crashes, just shuts down randomly. Sometimes it will let me play (20ish mins) and then it crashes and i have to relaunch. Crashes are not always consistent, recently (as in today) it won't even launch, it just crashes at the main menu screen, before a save is even selected. I tried new saves, i tried moving the folder from documents and making a new one, i have tried every fix. Something is happening when you own all the dlcs or something went wrong with the most recent update but I have not been able to play my game OR the new $40 expansion i just paid for.  and i don't have mods or any cc installed

  • XoMiSsYoX  Please try disabling XMP and CPU Turbo Mode, both in your computer's BIOS settings.  The latter especially may have a different name and will probably be hidden in the Advanced Settings; XMP should be easily accessible.  A number of players on hardware like yours have had to disable one or both settings in order to make Sims 4 stop crashing.

If this helps, look for a BIOS update for your motherboard that specifically mentions addressing stability issues, and try installing that.  Updates to fix the underlying issue have been rolling out for the past few months, but not all boards have them yet.
