BabyWeasel511 Please uninnstall both copies of Sims 4, clear the EA App's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and restart your computer. Install the game through Steam, then open the EA App and download the packs you own there, but NOT a second copy of the base game.
If this doesn't work, please confirm that your EA and Steam accounts are currently linked to each other. Try to sign into any EA website (this one is fine) using your Steam credentials. If you land in the correct EA account, they're linked; if anything else happens, let me know.
i tried and when i went to download my packs from EA it created another app, i then again had 2 sims games, I'm gonna try one more time. I'm only confused because iv switched computers before when i went to stay with my girlfriend i downloaded the sims on her computer and got all my packs and i just cant seem to do it right this time. I'm not good at electronics, whenever i ask my friends for help i always tell them to talk to me like I'm 5 because i do not understand electronics at all if its not my phone.
