it wont work!

i have no idea what the issue is. I have a gaming laptop that can handle just about anything. The specs are immaculate and i own just about every pack  I've taken out every single mod and custom content in my game and every save that i have just to make sure there weren't any corrupt files and it STILL CRASHED 💔. I've repaired the game over and over and it is still doing it. I'm starting to think it's just the sims game at this point. Is anybody else having this problem? If so can you please give me some advise or help? I don't even want to play the game anymore because i can't figure it out. Anything will help. Thank you!! ❤️

    im having the same issue. everything is up to date, no mods and ive repaired the game and restarted my computer. its still crashing during the loading screen - what is going on lol

    Guys... This worked for me... The mods don't have ANY problem...

    I started a new game and renamed my saves folder to saves2. Started a new game and saved. Then I copied my save slots from saves2 to saves and then I ran the game and loaded my old save file and IT WORKED!!!!!!

    Wanderlustpjd​ YESSSS!!!!  So EA fed us the normal BS that didn't work... they always blame the MODs.   I had tried everything... I had removed the mods, but I then discovered the game would load if I removed my saved games, WTF!  I did ALL the crap EA said to do, I even moved my MODs and saves, uninstalled and reinstalled the game... same thing, it wouldn't load with my saved games in the file.   

    So I did exactly what you said... I removed them... started a game, saved it... then closed out... loaded my save files back in and yes!!!!!  It worked!  

    EA, take note... it shouldn't take random people to figure out issues... if there is a known issue and an easy fix, it should come from you all!!!!  Not the normal clear the cache, blink three times and say "there's no place like home"!
