Random Crashes
My Dxdiag + sims 4 last crash log files
My game crashes seemingly randomly and it is making the Sims 4 unplayable. I will be playing as I normally do and it will suddenly freeze for a couple seconds and completely close the game. I have tried everything I could think of to solve this, including uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, removing any mods, removing any DLC, playing on the lowest graphics settings, even completely factory resetting my computer, and nothing worked. I use all DLC and packs, I am using the mods MC Command Center and UI Cheats Extension, but these crashes happen even without them. These crashes started after the life and death update came out.
ScaredyCat27 Did you remove half of the text of your dxdiag on purpose? A lot of the missing info is actually very relevant in some circumstances, and if you're providing the dxdiag for other people to look at, presumably you don't know whether that info matters in your particular case.
At any rate, force the game to run in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
