Sims 4 game data missing/damaged

Question

I tried loading up the Sims 4 and a message popped up stating that game data was missing or damaged. Then when I tried repairing the game the bar for the repair progress would jump around from various numbers all below 50% then reach 51% and the repair would pause and unable to continue.
I do play with mods and CC however I removed my Mods folder and the problem still wasn’t solved.
I have been able to play since the update a few days ago so I do not think they are linked.

I should also say that the Sims 4 is in my computers DATA drive (as the C drive is quite small on our computer) while I believe the EA App is in the Windows(C) drive if that helps in any way

Kiah_Evergreen​&nbsp; It shouldn't matter that your game is installed on a different drive than the EA App.&nbsp; Many of us have that same setup.
The "game data missing or damaged" error is common and has its own master thread:

If you can launch the game but are getting this error, try the other suggestions in the first post rather than worrying about the repair.&nbsp; If none of them help, or you're stuck in a repair loop, we can focus on that part instead.&nbsp; And in that case, try clearing the EA App's cache and starting another repair.
