Stuck on loading screen & game doesn't recongize my packs

So, for about 1-2 months I've been unable to play the game due to it just getting stuck on the loading screen after I select the household I want to play. This, paired with the fact that my game doesn't seem to recognize that I own any expansion/game/stuff packs whatsoever, if I from the main menu press "load game" (I see icons for each pack I own, and if I hover over them a warning is displayed saying that I don't have the pack), is very concerning. 

I have tried  disabling all my mods and repairing the game, but nothing seems to work. According to the EA app I own all the packs. 

Has anyone else experienced this? Have you managed to solve the problem?

    Elingizmo  The issue with loading into your household may or may not be resolved by getting your packs installed properly, so let's focus on that first.  If your packs show as installed in the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons, but aren't loading in-game, please see the first post and accepted solution of this thread:

    If you see Download buttons, you can of course simply click them.

    If you get your packs to load in-game but still can't load your save, try loading a different household within that same save.  Use Load Game rather than Resume.
