Ex3o Sure, I'll be around whenever you have time to troubleshoot. Please run and post a new dxdiag at that point so that all the information is fresh, and confirm that my suggestions earlier in the thread currently don't work, as in, you tested them again now. Sometimes a random update (Windows or otherwise) changes things enough that a previous failed workaround can fix the issue, and I don't want to send you jumping through hoops if the current fix is something we previously tried.

OMG the thing with dx worked!!! You are a real MVP!!! Thank you!!!
sospecial21 Please provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the camera (Insert Media) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know whether the game runs in DirectX 9 mode. Open the EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and enter -dx9 in the command line box.

Im having the same problem and so are alot of other players as well. None of the fixes suggest here or on other posts have worked to fix this issue. I had no problems playing the game until last week's update. Did you have any luck?
Ex3o And this is with nothing else reconnected to your computer?
Please temporarily disable your antivirus, clear the EA App's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and repair the game (game library > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair), even if you've done it before. Then try to play with your AV still disabled. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe. Reenable the AV when you're done. If this works, add exceptions for TS4_x64 and TS4_Launcher_x64, plus EADesktop.exe.
If this doesn't help, please let me know where the game is installed, which you can see under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.
The next step would be to try playing in a clean boot:
The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.
If that doesn't help either, repeat the test but with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.

Hello again! I been very busy but I would like to try and fix the game when I get home. Is it possible for me to still get help when I try again?

I uninstalled everything razer and still no fix
Ex3o Yes, please uninstall anything Razer-related, at least for now. When the game is working properly again, you can start adding back software and peripherals, a little at a time.
Ex3o Please disconnect all nonessential peripherals, everything except the mouse and keyboard, restart your computer, and try again to play. I'm not saying you can't use these going forward, but one of them may be an issue, or there might be a conflict between two of them, and this is a quick test. If it helps, you can reconnect them one or two at a time and see what happens.
If that doesn't help, please clear the EA App's cache and repair the game, even if you have already.

If that doesn't help either, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to launch Sims 4, specifically with all your extra devices disconnected. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

So im using my mouse and keyboard and on the logs it showing stuff about razer apps. Should I try uninstalling them?
Ex3o You're specifically seeing the "there is a problem with your game's setup" error? Then please provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the camera (Insert Media) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
