mjdsaund The guide I linked is mostly but not entirely about OneDrive because this problem is mostly but not entirely caused by OneDrive. Admittedly, most of the non-OneDrive-related info is towards the end, but that wouldn't be so much of an issue if anchors worked on this site.
Anyway, there are only four reasons your saves might not be read:
- They've been deleted (not relevant here, you said you can see them)
- They're intact but in the wrong location (my first guess)
- They're all corrupt (possible but unlikely to affect ALL saves at the same time)
- They've been renamed in a way that the game can't read them (doesn't happen on its own)
Please confirm that the saves are in the folder the game is currently reading. I understand they WERE in the correct folder, but that location may have changed due to a Windows update. Here's how to find the folder Sims 4 is reading at the moment:
https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
Compare that location to your saves' location: right-click one of your saves and select Properties > General, then look at the Location. The file paths must match exactly up to the Sims 4 folder.
If the saves are in the correct location, are they still named correctly? Even if you think so, please post a screenshot of the contents of the saves folder so I can look as well. Aside from their names, I can check the file sizes, and this will allow me to refer to specific files by name as well, which will make this back and forth a lot simpler going forward.
