Twice now I have tried to renovate the starter home in Nordhaven, but every time I select the automatic litter box, not the laser one, my game crashes and does not save anything I did. Only had this problem since the update, but I did just buy the pack.

I have the same problem, tried to place it in my build in San Myshuno and the game lagged. I deleted it and problem solved. Then placed it again and the game crashed.
UPDATE - I restarted my computer and updated my IOS to Sequoia 15.3.2 and that seemed to do the trick on my end, I've logged a few hours of play time with the litter box and haven't had any issues. Hopefully that helps!
For the last three months my game will freeze and/or crash any time I place the automatic litter box. I have cleaned my game and computer countless times and none of the base game updates have helped anything. After trying to place the litter box a single time, my game will continue freezing/crashing even if I've deleted the litter box and am playing without it on my lot. Game will freeze/crash in both build and buy and live mode. My specs are: macOS Monterey Version 12.6.3, MacBook Air (M1, 2020), Apple M1 chip, 8GB memory.
I've run cleaning apps on my mac multiple times, repaired my game in EA x100, completely started over with base game/no mods and have 64 open GB of storage. I had a handful of mods at one point but completely restarted with a clean game for the last two months. My old thread got closed because I was tired of trying to find solutions after two weeks of nonstop troubleshooting and I had to take a break. I have tried any and every troubleshooting/cleaning process and I'm at a loss at this point, I just want my game to work.
Community ManagerUsing this Cats and Dogs item in game causes my game to freeze, lag and eventually completely crash, this has happened to me in multiple save files.
