So i bought and downloaded adventure awaits. game was working perfectly fine before hand. after downloading and installing the dlc my game now stays stuck on a endless inital loading screen never getting to the main menu page. Ive repaired my game. removed all CC. cleared the cache. even uninstalled the game comepletly and re installed and still the game wont load.
Please if anyone can help im literally in tears with this

Mine took foreverrrrr to load after trying for the 5th time !! It did eventually load up. I’m going to go through my mods to see which one is outdated. Hope yours gets fixed!
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
This happened to me after downloading the latest update and it turns out the 'better console games with ps5' mod was causing infinite loading- took it out and game works fine!
No mods but for one lot the loading time seemed forever so I eventually exited the game. This also happened when I tried to meet a club group at a restaurant, but if I load the lot, ask the friends over, then go it's fine. The lot that didn't load was one I had not played for a while, but the new families in Adventure Awaits all loaded fine and some others too.
same. i was fine after the first update not when it was time to dl it. i think it was the patch? i realize it's overall save file corruption from one of the bigger updates tho

Same with me. Brought the new pack yesterday afternoon was playing fine and then suddenly last night none of my faves are loading and I’m just getting continuous loading screen . Wish I had brought the pack now 🤦♀️
I reached out to EA this evening about the bug that’s completely broken my game since I brought the adventure awaits pack. Just continuous loading screens, game is completely broken. I contacted EA to ask for a refund for the expansion pack “Adventure awaits” as it’s not working and has broken my game. They responded by saying that the game team will be looking into it and that they couldn’t give me my refund due to limitations . They also couldn’t tell me how long it would take them to fix the problem so again I asked about my refund to which they responded that my transaction isn’t eligible for a refund and sent me a link to their website that says if any EA game that is released and brought within 72 hours and it doesn’t work due to technical issues due to EA then we can request a refund” . So I sent the quote of what it says on their website and was still denied a refund. I expressed how disappointed and upset I was as someone who has been playing sims for 19 years, spent thousands and has never asked for a refund. Sold for what? 55 billion and you can’t refund the people who’s games are completely broken £35 back. Never been so let down by a company before.
v3i can salvage some lots now but who can i talk to about my lots disappearing? the save file is available online already. it'd be cool for anyone to easily figure what's going on with the "love letter save file v3"
