New Legend Concept: Sensory Awareness for Deaf/HOH Players
Dear Respawn/EA Team, My name is [CM edit-PII]. Czech republic.24 years old. and I have been a loyal fan of Apex Legends for a long time. Your game has been a sanctuary for me, even during the hardest times of my life. I am writing this as I prepare to enter a long-term drug rehabilitation program to save my life. I want to leave something positive behind before I go. I would like to propose a concept for a New Legend focused on Accessibility and Sensory Awareness. This legend would be designed specifically to help Deaf and Hard of Hearing players. Instead of relying on sound cues (footsteps, distant gunfire), this legend’s abilities would translate vibrations and movement into visual data on the HUD (like visual sonar ripples or 'vibration trails' in space). This would be a game-changer for inclusivity, allowing players who cannot hear to compete on equal ground. I believe that even in our darkest moments, we should find ways to help others. This is my 'thank you' for the hours of joy your game has given me. I’m heading into treatment now to face my past and claim my future. I hope that when I return clean in 5 months, maybe the world of Apex will be a bit more inclusive for everyone. Thank you for everything. See you in the Outlands. Best regards, SlowLoneSlowLone24 hours agoRising Newcomer16Views0likes0CommentsFeedback on Platform Transition and Locked Apex Purchases
I am posting this as feedback, not as a support request. I am a long term Apex Legends player who recently transitioned from PlayStation to Xbox. All of my Apex progression and Apex Coins were earned on PlayStation and are tied to that platform. After the transition, I learned there is no supported way to consolidate progression or acknowledge purchases when moving platforms. EA Help was professional and empathetic, but confirmed there are no options for account consolidation or goodwill support in these cases. I understand the technical and policy limitations. However, I wanted to share how discouraging this feels for players who have invested time and money and then change consoles. Even limited goodwill options or clearer upfront messaging around platform locked purchases would greatly improve the player experience. I am sharing this in hopes it can be considered as feedback for future policy or quality of life improvements. Thank you for reading.guysitsdma2 days agoRising Newcomer4Views0likes0CommentsMore transitions in Battle Pass.
Hello. I would love if there were a couple more transitions in each Battle Pass. Transitions are one of my favorite rewards (I love both the art and the narrative aspects of the game), and having only two per split feels insufficient.sashazyryanov2 days agoRising Scout7Views0likes0CommentsBattle Pass rewards missing after purchase anyone experienced this before?
Hi everyone, I’m posting here because I’m really stuck and hoping someone can help or share a similar experience. I purchased the Apex Legends Battle Pass, payment went through successfully, and the Battle Pass is active. However, none of the rewards I earn are being added to my account. I’ve progressed to Battle Pass Level 30, but all unlocked items and loot are missing and unusable. I already contacted EA Support. During the process, I was redirected to two different support agents, and I’ve now been waiting 4 days without any solution. In total, this issue has been going on for 8 days since the purchase, and nothing has changed. At this point, I’ve paid for content and invested time leveling up, but I can’t access any of the Battle Pass rewards I earned. It feels like my account is bugged or not syncing properly. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? If yes, how was it resolved? Is there anything specific I should do to fix this or push support to take action? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.GrueziMitenand2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer11Views0likes0CommentsColorblind Setting Type 1 Creates a Ranked Disadvantage
This issue occurs on both Steam (PC) and PlayStation 5. As a user of Apex Legends, I would like to submit a request for improvement regarding a design issue in the current ranked environment. I use Colorblind Setting “Type 1”, but at present, the perceptual improvement provided by this setting effectively functions only for Recon-class legends. For non-Recon classes, perceptual visibility is hardly improved and is effectively no different from a normal setting, which practically restricts class selection. In the current ranked environment, Recon-class legends are disadvantaged in terms of prediction, survivability, and immediate impact. When prioritizing win rate and stability, choosing non-Recon classes is considered a reasonable decision. However, as a result, when non-Recon classes are chosen in order to win, for players using Colorblind Setting “Type 1”, enemy visibility becomes extremely difficult, which leads to disadvantages in gunfights and ultimately makes it impossible to win. As an exception, for legends with high mobility such as Valkyrie, it is possible to compensate for the visibility disadvantage through positional movement. However, this is a limited exception restricted to some high-mobility characters, and the same response is not possible for the majority of non-Recon classes. Because of this structure, players using Colorblind Setting “Type 1” are placed in a significantly disadvantaged situation before skill or positioning comes into play, and as a result, I feel that the environment makes it difficult to rank up. As one possible improvement, I would appreciate consideration of returning Bloodhound and Seer to performance closer to their pre-nerf state, or making adjustments of a similar level. Considering the current environment, this would not be a buff, but I believe it would allow Recon-class legends to fulfill their role for the time being. This is not a request to strengthen a specific class. The point is that because the colorblind setting and class design do not align, an environment is being created where no one benefits.bucktick103 days agoSeasoned Newcomer6Views0likes0Commentsproblem with completing challenges
Hi, I'm having a problem with the in-game challenges. Some of the Battle Pass challenges aren't counting as completed. I'm having trouble with the weekly challenges, and my daily XP keeps showing as 0. I play for several hours a day, and it's bothering me because I enjoy collecting Battle Pass items. Please fix this.boberssj3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer14Views0likes0CommentsDismantling system for heirlooms or crafting materials
I play on PC now, but on my PSN account (I'm about to switch back) I have 2 heirlooms, Wraith and Bloodhound. Regrettably, I want to suggest a dismantling system. What I mean is maybe the game can add a dismantling system such that if you have an heirloom or skin you accidentally bought, you can dismantle it, but after doing so, you have a time period until you can dismantle something again. For example, for heirlooms, you can dismantle your heirloom weapon that you bought and don't want anymore for 150 heirloom shards, and it gives you a warning saying, "Upon the dismantling of this weapon, you will receive 150 heirloom shards and lose the (heirloom skin name). In return for these shards, you will also have to wait 6 months to be able to dismantle any heirloom weapon again. Do you accept?" And in my opinion, the game should give you 2 available dismantles for any heirloom weapon, and after using 1, you can gain another after 6 months." This suggestion for the heirloom dismantling system, in my opinion, SHOULD be a thing because it can help people with the same dilemma as me. For the crafting material skins, you should have 10 available dismantles, so you can, for example, dismantle a skin such as Vengeance Seeker for Wraith. It does the same pop-up as the heirloom dismantle, except you can receive a dismantle every 2 weeks but not the suggestion for crafting materials. This suggestion for the crafting materials shouldn't be a thing, in my opinion, because people can just abuse this for the heirloom events to get free event packs to complete it. Other than this, if this is not allowed or EA does not want this to happen, then they should allow account merging, but you need proof that both of the accounts are yours. The reason I say this is because I have a PSN account that I spent money on and have 2 heirlooms on, and I have a PC account that I also spent money on. I'm around the same level and have the same kills but fewer 4k 20-kill badges. This will make it so much easier, so instead of deciding upon which account you should get rid of, you can merge both with sufficient proof that both accounts are yours. As of now I am deciding between keeping or getting rid of my PC account for my PSN account, and I most likely won't have my PC account by the time this gets seen by a lot of people or gets seen by any content creators or admins for EA, but I hope my idea can come to fruition.17Views0likes0CommentsGreed
This game has been ruined by greed. A lot of players including myself has been counting days to actually use our heirloom shards and get the dual katanas. Now we find out we have to wait another 20 days to get it. Developers say its a missunderstanding and that timeline doesn't show when the event ends. But everyone knows thats full bs and they just want to get some extra money for new years. This is the type of greed that ruins a game. Apex was supposed to be the best online battle royale game. But now its barely in the top 5. Not to mention the cheaters. Most of them go undetected or the game detects them but decides to keep them since they spend money on the game. These type of things is exactly why apex is dying. Horrible development team.garazadeh7 days agoSeasoned Newcomer24Views2likes0CommentsVisualize Sound Effects and Deaf Mode in Apex Legends Settings
Turning audio cues into on-screen graphics, like arrows or icons showing direction for footsteps, gunshots, or healing in games, or creating waveform videos for music Accessibility feature in video games that replaces critical audio cues with visual indicators (like icons, colors, or pulsing effects) to help players who are deaf or hard of hearing (HoH) understand important in-game events, directions, and threats How it works in games • Sound Visualization: Replaces sounds with on-screen symbols or colors showing direction and intensity (e.g., footsteps, gunfire, abilities). • Muting Audio: Some modes completely mute game audio to prevent hearing players from gaining an unfair advantage by using both sound and visuals. • Customization: Allows players to adjust the size, color, opacity, and type of visual cues for different sounds. • Entity Indicators: Shows specific icons for enemies (e.g., a heart for killer proximity in Doors) or environmental cues. Examples in games • Sector's Edge: Uses ray-traced audio as colored light effects, muting game audio for competitive fairness. • Roblox (Doors, Pressure): Adds icons for entity footsteps and other threats, with specific colors for different entities. • Fortnite: Displays footstep and other player-related audio cues visually. Beyond gaming • Smartphone Accessibility: On phones, "Deaf Mode" often refers to accidental activation of screen readers like TalkBack, which provide spoken feedback and change touch controls; it's fixed by adjusting settings in Accessibility.JomariReys99 days agoSeasoned Newcomer21Views0likes0CommentsTHERE WAS NO CONFUSION ABOUT THE SUPERSONIC EVENT ENDING @ RSPN_JAX

If the development team can access my account data, you will notice a significant decrease in my Ranked match participation lately. the reason is simple: when I achieve a high placement in Solo Queue (kill count below the cap), I am frequently forced into matches where I’m expected to fill a vacancy for a "Duo" group. This creates an incredibly uncomfortable and restrictive experience for me. The management reports banning tens of thousands of offenders every month. However, looking at the flip side, this means an equal number of offenders are constantly creating new accounts and profiting from their actions. Why is it that players who follow the rules and play seriously are penalized by the system with "Penalty Game" duties, while offenders are free to enjoy "smurfing" (newbie hunting) on fresh accounts? Shouldn't these "Penalty Game" roles be assigned to "gray-zone" players who are still under investigation for potential violations? I have a question for the team: Are you using the "Mean" (Average) instead of the "Median" as your matchmaking metric? I highly doubt whether that MMR is being utilized effectively in matchmaking. Mean-based matchmaking, which is easily skewed by a single "lucky" high-performance game, produces a high volume of mismatched games, leading to player futility and churn. While implementing fair matchmaking based on the "Median"—which reflects a player's consistent skill level—requires significant technical effort and resources, it is a necessary investment that yields long-term benefits in both community health and user retention.Akipekopeko11 days agoNew Vanguard21Views0likes0CommentsDEATH DUET DELAY FOR PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO USE HEIRLOOM SHARDS

I'll preface this long rant by saying I'm a Day 1 player on PC with over 7k hours played. I've played through every version, season, and meta of the game. After all the good and bad changes, it's still my favorite FPS game of all time. But I'm concerned with the recent direction the game has taken the last few seasons and I'm worried that Respawn doesn't realize that their recent attempts to make the game easier for everyone has massively backfired. I genuinely believe adding visible health bars and ruining the TTK has taken away a lot of what made Apex and the fights great and interesting to play or watch. Season 21 was the last time we played before health bars, then the low TTK happened in Season 24. No surprise the game has been on a steady decline since S21... The fights are way too fast now and the teamfighting/legend dynamics were completely changed when everyone just pushes everything super fast with low HP because they know exactly how low they are, and with health bars, know exactly where they are or what direction they're trying to evade to. The game is way too one-dimensional now. The game just isn't as interesting anymore because the fights aren't nearly as back-and-forth as they used to be. Also it's increasingly harder to balance all the weapons/legends to be viable when everyone dies so quickly and the fights end so fast now. I know this is copy/pasted from my other countless other comments about these changes since they were added over a year ago, but I don't know how else to make my point. I've repeated my point of view over and over, but nothing is being done and the playerbase and viewership keeps declining... I just want my favorite game to return to its former greatness. Here is a summary of why (cheating aside) the two biggest core gameplay issues plaguing the game are visible health bars and low TTK: Health bars: - Gives free tracking and awareness - letting players see exactly where weakened enemies move, even through foliage or visual clutter. - Makes 3rd partying way easier since you instantly know who’s low and safe to push. - Removes the fog of war: no more guessing HP, no more deception via shield swaps, no more hiding HP weakness by using shield cells/batteries to re-peek. - Makes certain legends and abilities (Seer tac, Bloodhound, Mirage ult, etc.) far less valuable. - Encourages nonstop aping and movement legends - if you ever peek with flesh, everyone knows and full-sends. - Subconsciously affects split-second decisions at every level of play. - Makes tracking and aiming easier because players now have giant bars floating over them. Low TTK: - Erases mid-fight depth, teamfight dancing, clutch potential, and outplays. - Punishes solos and flanks - one tick of damage reveals your exact location and HP, and you’re basically out of the fight. - Leads to instant knocks → quick 2v3s with little chance for recovery. - Reduces the value of defensive or slower legends. - Shrinks the margin for error so much that taking even minor damage forces you to hide and heal instead of fighting back. Combined, HP bars + low TTK: - Creates cheap, fast kills, shallow fights, and overly aggressive playstyles. - Removes most of what made old Apex dynamic, skill-expressive, and balanced. - Makes movement less valuable and tracking easier. - Turns fights into linear one-dimensional “see flesh/red HP bar → push instantly” scenarios. Overall: Apex played best and was at its peak in the seasons before visible HP bars were added. Removing them—and/or raising the TTK—would restore much of the original depth and fun that made us all like the game. Here are some of my previous comments that have received positive reactions, showing that I'm not the only one that see's what's currently wrong with the game, go back and read people's replies to these as well: 1 - comment in the competitive apex sub on a comment lamenting about the lack of viewership/engagement in the eSports/pro scene now 2 - replying to a comment in the recent dev AMA that's concerned about the game's direction towards movement with low TTK 3 - the issue with the Support meta the season before they lowered the TTK was because they removed the only counters to support utility then swung too hard the other way and blanket buffed literally every weapons' damage, removed helmets, and Red EVO rather than just bringing the counters back. 4 - heavily upvoted post during the Support meta questioning why counters to Support were removed 5 - heavily upvoted post just days after health bars were added 6 - highly commented post complaining about low TTK not long after it was added 7 - highly upvoted comment linking my clip asking everyone's favorite iiTzTimmy on his opinion on health bars 8 - example 1 of seeing your target through things you shouldn't be able to because of health bars 9 - example 2 10 - everyone's favorite aceu getting instantly knocked then sarcastically praising the low TTK change comparing it to Warzone, why do you think he stopped playing? 11 - a comment where people agree that health bars are arguably the worst change they ever made 12 - a comment to the devs in their recent AMA on legend balance 13 - a comment where I pasted a lot of my other smaller comments about this topic 14 - a comment where people agree that low TTK lowered the skill ceiling too much 15 - upvoted comment on a post lamenting about how hard it is to play immobile legends now 16 - upvoted comment the season after the Support meta agreeing that buffing every weapon/lowering TTK was a mistake, lots of good discussion in this whole post 17 - upvoted reply on a comment from a returning player who doesn't understand why the fights are so fast now24Views0likes0CommentsFire range rework
Can we please change the map or add an extension to the map for fire range. The map we have now is outdated and has been our firerange for near 10 seasons. Can we also please bring back the 4 player lobby or add a 6 player lobby for players to all load into mixtape and firerange together. This would allow a group of 3-6 friends to all load into a mixtape match together and also load into a firerange together. I will also ask if we can add a selection menu inside fire range that allows players to pick a team. (Blue team), (red team) , (solo). This will allow people to practice 1v2ing, and if more than 3 players can load into a fire match together than it will implement training in 2v2s, 3v3, ect. + This would be really fun to just messing around playing with friends. Or just bring back arenas to the custom games. Thank you for reading this suggestion 🙏💓.Meisme1614 days agoRising Newcomer5Views0likes0CommentsBallistic needs some changes...
I think there are some real problems with Ballistic. He has a bunch of bad issues that really need some quality of life improvements and he also needs a major overhaul of how the whistler works. I am going to be outlining how I think Ballistic should be improved starting off with his quality of life changes. Ballistic should always Respawn with his sling gun. Every character respawns with their equipped weapons and Ballistic should keep the sling gun as well. This issue is extremely problematic in wildcard which gets me to my next point. Ballistic should have a second whistler by default and is extremely weak without it. Ballistic fires one whistler and causes very minimal effect to team play and then spends most of his time with basically no abilities or any pressure. Having a third gun doesn't change much since you can only fire one at a time anyway. Allow ballistic to choose which sights go on his sling weapon, sights are very up to player preference and not being able to choose feels bad. This one is very small but at least on console please make it so saying thank you doesn't always pull out your sling gun Now on to my big changes for ballistic WHISTLER. Let's face it, the whistler doesn't reward skillful play and it doesn't feel fun to lose the ability to shoot your gun. I propose that instead of making your opponent overheat that the whistler should cause your opponent to receive increased damage from you and your teammates for its duration. (The damage increase gets lower as the whistler wears off) This would give ballistic an advantage but not reduce the opponents ability to shoot back and it would still require the ballistic to hit their shots. WHISTLER would deal it's initial 10hp damage on impact but since it no longer overheats an enemy it instead will mark the enemy for ballistic, much in the way that revenants low health marking works. Now on to his perk upgrades Tier one blue Lefts side: Whistler gives ballistic a speed boost on successful hit to an enemy and whistler lasts three times longer in world Right side: Ballistic and teammates gain a tactical recharge when they score a knock while under the effect of Ballistics Ult Tier two purple: Left side: enemies knocked while under effect of whistler reload Ballistics guns Right side: ult cooldown reduced by 30 seconds and knock recharge effect extends to teammates (example: under ult effect say wraith scores a knock, everyone on the team gains 1 charge on their ability) My goal with these changes would be to Make Ballistic more rewarding and less frustrating to fight Increase Ballistics team utility Remove extra clunkiness from his kit Let me know which of these ideas you like or submit your own. I want to see ballistic in a healthy place and right now he is basically irrelevant13Views0likes0CommentsPort Gyro Aim to PS5
Having bought a Switch 2 at launch I'm having an absurd amount of fun playing Apex Legends on it with gyro aim enabled. I even went out of my way and bought the battle pass and some coins since I like to support the games I love. However, it would be even better to enjoy Apex on my PS5 in 4k, though without gyro aim it's just not as much fun. So please, please port gyro aim from Switch 2 to PS5. This would instantly make Apex Legends my favorite Shooter game in sweet 4k. 👀Thethreeandonly15 days agoSeasoned Newcomer7Views0likes0Comments- cop11716 days agoRising Novice14Views0likes0Comments
Christmas?
Dude are we ever going to get new Christmas skins? I know it's not a part of gameplay and it's really not important but come on they've re-released the same skins too many times to count. To be fair the event hasn't dropped yet but in the patch notes it showed literally all the same skins that have been out for years. Kinda annoying.CrusadersAngel16 days agoSeasoned Newcomer7Views0likes0Comments
