Pathfinder is a skirmisher and not recon? How?
His title is literally forward scout? Yea i get that his abilities can be used to cut through but that only happens at high level for the most part...People are legit using him as a scout at low-mid level (which are the majority of players btw..). Same can be said for mirage. Mirage can be an assault. a recon. a skirmisher. and even a controller.. I have developed a feeling that whenever a legend skill tree perk involves turning a legend into another class then that just screams "We dont know where to put this legend in the class system". Another example is rev. He can legit be a recon. He marks enemies at low health & his climbing and tac can be used to gain an observation high ground. I can even argue that his ult also serve the recon role because he can gain an exposed high ground with minimal chance of getting knocked quickly by a hidden enemy thanks to forged shadows. Gibby could be a controller and btw that imo would fit him more than support. Horizon could be assault. I can go on and on forever. I will never get how the classification system works in apex lol

I just got the new survey from Apex Legends and I just finished it. If you read through it you can clearly see they are reading these forums and are concerned about the current problems with the game, since everything we have been griping about on here was asked about. They wanted to know how bad you feel the cheating problem is, it even mentioned aimbot in one question. Also, hate speech and trash talking from players was mentioned. They also mentioned hit reg problems in some questions and wanted to know if you hit players, but the shots registered no damage. They also wanted to know if you were getting shot through obstacles like walls and I think they said crates. Lots of questions about ranked and how the current scoring system works and what you think about if and if it's easy to understand. Also, the season 30 changes with Bloodhound, Rampart, Loba, and the gun attachments. There were both multiple choice questions and fill in the blanks where you could write as much as you want and give them your opinion. (You can guess I said a lot lol) The survey ended with them asking about a whole list of anime properties I guess they are considering a collab with and what you think of them. I know Frieren, Jujitus kaisen, demon slayer, dragonball z, basically the usual Crunchyroll fair, were all listed with multiple choice questions about each. This is a great sign for the game that the devs do indeed care about it, and they want to listen to us. I can't wait to see the results of this survey and what changes they make. Hi Respawn Team, I’ve been thinking about the early days of Apex Legends (Season 0 & 1). While I love how refined, balanced, and competitive the game has become, I really miss the pure, chaotic energy of the launch era. What if we had a Limited Time Mode (LTM) that recreates that wild, unpredictable "Day-1" experience? Here are a few fun ideas for a "Classic / Nostalgia LTM": OG Pre-nerf Weapons & Abilities: Bring back the fast-firing Wingman, snipable Peacekeeper, and instant-cast Wraith void just for this mode. Classic Loot Rules: No evolving armor (fixed purple/gold shields only), no starter gear on drop, and 2 grenade stack limits Original King's Canyon: Bring back the classic KC map with Skull Town in its original form. I know balanced gameplay is essential for Ranked and normal Battle Royale, but an LTM purely dedicated to absolute chaos and nostalgia would be so much fun for both veteran players and new players who never experienced the early days. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this!Please bring back Ranked Dive Trails as permanent rewards
I would love to see the old Ranked Dive Trails make a return. The previous system felt much more rewarding, and having a dive trail was a great motivation to grind Ranked. The current rewards feel a bit lacking compared to how it used to be. Please consider restoring the dive trails for Diamond, Master, and Predator players. Thank you!Conduit tactical
Conduit tactical gives one teammate and herself temporary shield. If teammates are close in the line of sight, it is fairly quick for her to use her tactical on herself, but often it is delayed substantially because there is no teammate around and that leads to often being knocked down. Could her tactical be applied to her right away when using her tactical.
Game Crashing
Hey guys, I' m just another random apex enjoyer who's trying to get predator in all of these lobbies full of cheaters. Today i was playing on my main account and my first game of the day was brutal. Yesterday evening i finally reached Pred ater 3 years of grinding. This morning I stupidly decide to play and flex my rank, so i hop in ranked and land, get loot fast and... game crashes, tried to restart multiple times even checked connection but all seemed to be fine. When i tried to restart the game for the 6th time i was in lobby, 10 minutes of penalty and 280 POINT WERE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME FOR LEAVING PENALTY. Ofc i lost my beloved predator rank and now i need to grind it back PLS EA FIX YOUR GAME Anyone else having this problem? #fixapex #cheatersoutText chat reporting system leaves a lot to be desired
I just returned from a match in which our random typed "F-in Stupid" to us in the text chat (typed in full, nat abbreviated as i just did to avoid swear filter). I immediately received an automated email that this was not found to violate the TOS and no action would be taken. What does someone have to type in text chat in order to face any consequences??

Dear Respawn and EA Team, I am creating this post to raise an important issue affecting Apex Legends players across Southern Africa, particularly players in Mozambique and neighboring countries. Many of us have stable, high-speed Internet connections, yet we are frequently forced to play with 200–220+ ms ping because of the lack of suitable server infrastructure and/or network routing options in our region. This is not simply an inconvenience. In a highly competitive game like Apex Legends, this level of latency creates a significant competitive disadvantage. What are we experiencing? Players in Southern Africa regularly experience: 200–220+ ms ping despite having good Internet connections; Losing gunfights even when reacting and shooting first; Shots that visually hit an enemy but fail to register properly; Inconsistent hit registration; Delayed damage registration; Enemies appearing to take damage later than expected; Delayed interaction with the game world; Unstable and frustrating experiences in Ranked and competitive matches. At this level of latency, reaction time and server registration become extremely difficult to manage. The important question We understand that server infrastructure is a complex issue and that Respawn cannot necessarily place servers in every country. However, we would like to ask: Could Respawn and EA investigate the server infrastructure and network routing available to Southern Africa and explore ways to provide players in this region with a more balanced and competitive latency experience? Could this include: Evaluating the possibility of servers closer to Southern Africa; Improving international network routing; Investigating connectivity between Southern African ISPs and Apex data centers; Exploring additional regional server locations; Improving matchmaking based on latency where possible; Investigating whether a regional solution could significantly reduce the 200+ ms latency experienced by many players. We are not asking for an advantage We are not asking Respawn or EA to give African players preferential treatment. We are asking for a fair competitive environment. A player in Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi or another Southern African country should not have to compete against players with dramatically lower latency simply because there is no suitable server infrastructure nearby. A difference between approximately 30–60 ms and 200–220+ ms can have a very noticeable impact in close-range gunfights and other situations where milliseconds matter. To the Southern African Apex community If you are experiencing the same problem, please leave a comment and give this post a Kudos. Please mention your: Country; Typical Apex ping; Internet provider; Apex data center you normally connect to; Whether the problem occurs consistently or at particular times. The more players who report the same issue, the clearer it becomes that this is not an isolated problem. We love Apex Legends and want to continue playing and supporting the game. However, for many players in Southern Africa, playing with 200+ ms latency is becoming extremely frustrating and, in competitive situations, practically unbearable. We respectfully ask Respawn and EA to investigate this issue and consider possible solutions for Southern Africa. Can Southern Africa get a fairer connection to Apex Legends? We would really appreciate an official response from the Respawn/EA team regarding whether improvements to regional servers, routing, or matchmaking based on latency are being considered. I just played a match where I was called the N-word for 5 minutes straight by a chinese player who aim botted. He and his friend both finished the game with over 18 kills, we won, they both had new accounts. During the match I was killed by level 1 players and a bunch of under level 20 players beaming across the map. Can you Please region lock so that NA players don't have to deal with this BS any more? The ping is insane and we're getting players from the region with the highest amount of cheaters. Can't even report the players because they don't use english characters. This needs to endCheating is still bad
I'm getting killed in the most unusual ways, by players with the most unusual player tags. Some say "temp random number" and some names are like they just needed to think up something on the spot. Games get worst after 9pm mountain standard time in NA. I got knocked down to silver 4 from diamond 1 and I'm player players that have aim like they're preds. It gets worse at a certain time each night which I think the player base knows why but respawn refuses to region lock... Level 20 players dominating lobbies against people who have been playing religiously since season 1 isn't normal if you haven't noticed. Not 80% of the player base are prodigies...please keep up the cheat detection, this game is still in a really bad state even with the recent cheat detection upgrades
Universal Melee not disclosed as random at place of purchase.
I know this is on me for the most part, but I haven't played apex in like 3 years, and in that time universal melee's have become a thing (I like them). So I decided as a treat to myself I would buy one. BUT after buying all necessary packs, I open the last one and find out its RANDOM. Nowhere does it disclose this from seeing the packs in the shop, to purchasing them, to opening them. NOT ONCE. If you click into browse pack items it tells you, but like HUH? Surely it needs to be disclosed before you purchase and proceed to open all of them? Obviously I didn't get the one I thought I was purchasing, I guess that's on me, but please for the love of god, ADD RANDOM TO THE SHOP TITLE. Like this feels like either a super scummy way to trick people, or a silly legal issue. Anyways, waiting to hear back from EA support on getting it refunded.
Spotlight pass needs legendary loot?
I bought a spotlight pass for Gibi the other day and Im stuck on this one last challenge where youre required to look legendary items. Ive looted mythics and legendary items in br from airdrops and looted golden shields from control and team deathmatch however none of these seem to do anything for the counter? Either the pass specifically wants the golden attachments that are no longer in the game or it is bugged and I'm unsure how to finish my spotlight pass.
