Extremely long loading times despite high-end PC (multiplayer almost unplayable)
Hi everyone I am having serious loading issues with my EA game and I am hoping someone here can help The game takes around two to three minutes to reach the main menu and when I try to join multiplayer it takes another minute or more just to reach the deploy screen which often prevents me from joining matches properly I have already cleared the game cache and followed all troubleshooting steps provided by EA support and I have no internet or connection issues None of these steps made any difference and the loading times are still extremely slow My PC specs are Intel i9 13900K RTX 3060 Ti 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz RAM and the game is installed on a fast SSD Based on my own research I have seen reports that the game engine may have issues with high core count CPUs which could be related If anyone has experienced similar problems or found a workaround such as BIOS settings CPU affinity or launch options I would really appreciate the help Thanks Dawid
The game stutters any time I press a key
Using the keyboard causes the game to stutter. This never happened until a few days ago. Most keys are affected, some only cause a stutter on press, some on release, some on both press and release. This includes keys not bound to any actions in-game. Typing in chat is also affected. Even in the main menu pressing random keys produces stutters. Pressing keys whilst alt-tabbed out of the game (in borderless mode) does not produce stutters. Restarting the game seems to slightly change which keys are affected or by how much. Raw mouse inputs are not affected. This issue cropped up in the last few days despite absolutely no changes on my end, though on the 11th of this month I received updates for the EA Desktop launcher and the EA Javelin anti-cheat. When I played on the 10th this issue was definitely not present. I didn't play on the 11th and 12th but I still I launched the game to check some stuff in the main menu, and at the time for me this issue wasn't noticeable yet, if present at all. Considering the nature of the problem I suspect there is something wrong with the recent anti-cheat update. Judging by user reports found online, both on these forums here and elsewhere, the issue seems to affect all Battlefield games protected by Javelin (confirmed on Battlefield 1, Battlefield V, and Battlefield 6). I've tried disabling RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) as suggested by some people and it reduced the severity of the stutters, but it did not get rid of them. I've also tried to power through the stutters and play for a few rounds to see if the issue would go away on its own, and so far the answer seems to be no. By the way my CPU is not maxing out when playing and I have GBs of RAM to spare. Any help would be appreciated.
Won't let me play
Every time I try to join a server it says "connection to EA Online timed out. Your network bandwidthband/or network latency may not meet the requirements for this game" I was playing 2 days ago perfectly fine and my internet runs perfectly fine its even running better then before I tried playing on a different ps4 and it does the same thing.
huge lag and stuttering while playing BFv
hi I'm playing BFV with my friends and over the past few days my game keep freezing and lagging while in the match. the stuttering remains for a few sec and while its happening FPS drops from 100 to 15 and game takes no input until I stop moving and wait a few sec. this keep happening randomly in different times. might be 10 sec , might be 2 min later. I tested this in both community and Dice servers. I asked around and a lot of my other friends have been experiencing the same problem. my ping stays the same throughout this experience. my pc is old (GTX1060 - i7-4970) but well within game requirements and i never had this problem before the recent updates. also my other friends with the same problem have very very better computers than me .(RTX-3060 or above) and still having the same problem so I know its not a problem with my PC. we are all lvl 500 and receive a lot of reports from the lower lvl players. ( i thought that to be the problem maybe) the only way we have found to fix this problem (sometimes works) is resetting the pc multiple times and trying to get back into the game each time to see if the problem still exist. pls fix this problem . thanks
