Defensive RTG is unplayable
The coach grade dropping is far too aggressive. This has been stated before, but this fix should be prioritized. - No weighting on defensive grade drops - I get -15 for a gain of 1 on 3rd and 9? Context matters. This isn't offset enough for "defensive stop" - I don't get credit for PBUs for other defenders, but I get deducted if they allow a catch. Same for throw aways? - Good / Great coverage is bugged. Appears randomly - As stated, academics value per energy is not realistic Considering we can adjust exp and sliders, just let us turn on/off the grades. I just want to play without playing 1 drive per quarter before I get dropped. I don't necessarily think this is "skill issue". I think it's unfair to penalize an individual player for a defensive unit. The joy of this game comes from being hercules on a bad squad, but that's impossible if my 64 edge defender can't set the edge while I'm playing cornerback on the opposite side.RTG as a DB
To start off I am not that good at the game. However that being said, I created a DB RTG and in the high school games I had a lot of fun and got an interception. I have played as a DB in 25 and as well in former Madden games. Playing as my DB once I got him to college has been a struggle. My player is consistently not being targeted even though I feel as if I am baiting the QB pretty well. But that is not what has been frustrating the most. What has been the most frustrating is the fact that I am constantly being subbed out because my grade gets down to an F. This is so frustrating because the main reason my grade is getting so low is because of the plays on the opposite side of the field that are big gains which is all on my teammates not me yet I have to lose so much coach trust/happiness because of it.Academics is very unrealistic
I dedicate at least 3 of my 6/7 weekly energy points to Academics, and I'll get it all the way up to a 3.6/3.8. Then exam time hits and I get C's or D's, my GPA plummets and I have "fail" on academics. Then I have to spend even more to get it back to where I'm eligible. This is also after I choose whatever prompts I get to say "study for this exam/project/etc" that also take away energy points. This needs to be fixed. Suggestions: make small drops unless the player NEVER spends any time in academics--to which make the plummet. But if the player spends time in academics, at least let it go up around exam time. Also, 6 or 7 energy points is very low considering you have 5 areas to work on, which a few of them start off using 2 energy points. That's WAY too difficult to maintain and is not realistic. Minimally it should be 8 with a few 10s sprinkled in.Road to Glory is terrible
The “wide” camera angle is terrible. Playing as a CB when you’re on the outside you can’t even see what’s going on including yourself at sometimes. Same old get subbed out randomly even if you’re a 99 starter. gameplay at least in Road to Glory feels fluky and weird. Also have noticed random moments when it’s like the game takes control of my player. I’m trying to turn to the left and he’ll do like a SWAT or he’ll move a different direction than what I’m turning him to. I was hoping to get more positions this year, such as safety, tight end, edge rusher, but at this point, I think they just need to go back to college football 25 and start from there. I enjoyed college football 25 last year and was thinking this year would be even better considering how good it was since it had been so long since NCAA 14. But I was wrong, Instead of improving it has gotten worse. Continuously losing coach trust for every little thing that happens whether it has anything to do with you or not. Overall, very disappointed with the game. I’m really hoping Madden is not the same as college football because if it is, I’m going to be missing the money I wasted.Serious concerns about Road to Glory High School mode
Dear EA Sports team, As a long-time fan of college football video games, I was incredibly excited for the return of College Football 26. However, I’m genuinely disappointed by the way Road to Glory has been implemented – especially the high school portion. The decision to reduce high school games to short “moments” instead of allowing us to play full games feels like a huge step backward. It removes all immersion, limits player development, and frankly makes the entire pre-college experience feel hollow and rushed. It honestly seems like EA has ignored years of community feedback. We’ve waited over a decade for this game to return – was it really too much to expect the most basic parts of career mode (like full games) to be playable? Right now, Road to Glory feels like a stripped-down, on-rails experience with little freedom or depth. Many of us play offline, and we want the full, classic experience back – with full high school seasons, deeper customization, and meaningful progression. Please take this feedback seriously. We’re not just “moments” players. We want to live the journey – not skip through it. Sincerely, A disappointed but hopeful fan PS: I don’t want to wait for cfb27 with this🙃
Game Crashes Every Time I Play
I play on PS5 and every single time I play it crashes at least once. Sometimes multiple times. Worse than CFB 25. Just got screwed out of a record game. Also I can only complete like 40% of passes even with perfect accuracy and ball placement due to delayed animations. And Wear and Tear deteriorates a player way too quick. I lost 3/4 of my season W&T in one game with not even taking very many hits. Please update because this is currently unenjoyable and unplayable.RTG Trophies not registering for MIKE LB
Has anyone that’s played a defensive position ever received a trophy and had it show up in the trophy room? I’ve played 4 years and received awards at the end of the year and they do not show up in the trophy room inside the RTG menu or in the trophy room at the main menu.Mike rtg
After freshman Season . Linebacker keeps being moved to edge . Multiple different saves Doesn’t seem to matter whether I transfer or not . Pass rushing controls trash . I get more sacks shooting gaps and now I can’t get interceptions or make usual plays or just play Mike lol . PLEASE FIX !!!Cornerback RTG is Completely Unbalanced
The gameplay loop for the CB position appears to be either not working as intended or completely unbalanced. Very rarely is your player rewarded for playing good defense (covering a zone, locking down your man), and a 3rd down stop on a 1 yard run will net you a total of 0 points on the coach happiness/teammate grade meter. With fatigue off, wear & tear off, and auto subs off, you will automatically be removed for at least a drive for hitting F on the aforementioned scale, which is possible if your teammates are the ones failing on defense. A majority of your playing time/coach happiness seems to be dependent on your team when the ball isn’t thrown your way, which to me takes away from the purpose of the entire road to glory aspect of the game mode.Hair Graphics
Yo guys. This happened in 25 too but I always thought it would be fixed in 26, just hopped on and I guess its not. Basically, the hair graphics in my game (When player creating in RTG) look like some old gen textures and it kind of bugs me. If I watch someone make their character in their version of the game its 100x better. Just wondering if there's any fix to this. ThanksCamera view in RTG for CBs
EA I am begging can yall please make the wide camera angle for RTG CBs wide enough so I can see my CB and the Wr I'm lined up with I'm literally getting cooked because I can't see anything the wr or my cb is doing when the ball is lined up on the strong side of the field and I'm on the weak side and vice versa please fix so I can enjoy my 6'4 cb will Pickett he's a legendGame Crashes on PS5 in Road to Glory When Double Juking (Since July 24 Update)
Platform: PlayStation 5 (Digital Copy) Game Mode: Road to Glory Player Type: Pure Runner QB Issue: The game crashes 100% of the time whenever I perform a double juke move (flicking right stick left-right or right-left) while playing as a Pure Runner QB in Road to Glory. This results in a full blue screen error code asking me to report it to PlayStationRTG Playcalling - For the life of God - Fix it
How many times has someone actually complained about this and you guys have done absolutely nothing about it? Fix the playcalling, Its reptitive, and extremely poor logic. Running same set of plays 7 straight plays. Repeating inside runs and screens over and over doesnt seem to help anyone. Especially when playing an important game in CFP or conference championship. There should be no reason why this isnt fixed for 2 straight games. Even though this is also a Madden problem, I guess we can blame this on frostbite engine. But you guys @ EA actually listen to the fans and fix RTG so its actually fun to play? You guys were so awful in keeping a consistent game that you removed Grad Student feature.RTG Camera angles
Playing as a DB in RTG and it’s rough! Outside of the normal complaint that coach trust is horrible as a DB as it seems you get penalized for every little thing that has nothing to do with our player. However, the camera angles as a DB are trash! We don’t have the option of using the All 22 camera angle which I would prefer. The wide angle cuts off the screen and a lot of times I can’t even see my CB. The traditional is ok, but when deep balls are thrown it is hard to gage exactly where the ball is.
