No punt return or kick return in rtg
My wr has a 95 return rating and is the starting kick off and punt returner yet again like last year it sims through it. Like dang bruh 70 bucks on this game for yall to not change any of the faces for rtg or hair styles or positions, like ok cool but I can’t return punts bro!! COME ON! Or even play both sides of the ball in highschool like ok I get not being able to in college because it’s not very common besides Charles Woodson and as of late Travis Hunter but in highschool I played both sides of the ball and pretty much our entire team did. If you was good you could start at lineback and tight end of quarterback and safety. Uuugh hopefully this will be added next year because sadly it was in the game in ncaa 14. How hard is it to copy everything from a precious master piece of a game but with the graphics and animations of today?CFB 26 RTG “star ranking in high school goes down no matter what.
If I start off as a 5 star in RTG, even if I hit most of the tasks that the colleges ask me to do I usually end up as a 3 star at the end of my senior year. I thought this was a skill issue but I’ve done this countless times and every time I start off as a 5 star I drop to 3 and sometimes even 2. It seems that no matter what I do, with my tapes and my tape scores, my stars drop. Pretty sure this is a bug.Mike rtg
After freshman Season . Linebacker keeps being moved to edge . Multiple different saves Doesn’t seem to matter whether I transfer or not . Pass rushing controls trash . I get more sacks shooting gaps and now I can’t get interceptions or make usual plays or just play Mike lol . PLEASE FIX !!!Academics is very unrealistic
I dedicate at least 3 of my 6/7 weekly energy points to Academics, and I'll get it all the way up to a 3.6/3.8. Then exam time hits and I get C's or D's, my GPA plummets and I have "fail" on academics. Then I have to spend even more to get it back to where I'm eligible. This is also after I choose whatever prompts I get to say "study for this exam/project/etc" that also take away energy points. This needs to be fixed. Suggestions: make small drops unless the player NEVER spends any time in academics--to which make the plummet. But if the player spends time in academics, at least let it go up around exam time. Also, 6 or 7 energy points is very low considering you have 5 areas to work on, which a few of them start off using 2 energy points. That's WAY too difficult to maintain and is not realistic. Minimally it should be 8 with a few 10s sprinkled in.MIKE Linebacker forced to play left end every play
I played almost every down freshman year as a MIKE linebacker in my MIKE career mode. Then Michigan hired Steve Sarkisian to be Head Coach, and for some reason I have to play 95% of my snaps this year as a Left end. I do not know why. I am a pass coverage MIKE. I have very low power and finesse moves. It makes no sense for me to ever play there. I spend half of my games trying to find which plays other than 3-3-5 formation have me playing in the right position. 90-95% of the time, despite the fact that I have 18 plays unlocked each down, all of the play options have me playing left end. I don't know if it is a glitch and I have ended up at Rush Left end in the depth chart, but it is absurdly annoying. Really needs to be fixed. You guys fixed the coaching trust for defense and the game became way more fun, but now I am back to not wanting to play. I am forced to be in a four point stance on the line and I cannot even move off it until post-snap. This is really bad. I have been MIKE No. 1 since like week 6 of freshman year. I can barely get involved my sophomore year, but what do you know, all 4 of my picks so far have come in the 5-10% that I got to play my correct position, and wasn't instructed to rush every single play. Once again, I am a pass coverage MIKE! Please fix this. It is really ruining my game experience rn. At this point I am completely determined to transfer (despite wanting to play all 4 years at UMICH) because this is just absurd. And as far as I am concerned, there is a chance the exact same issue occurs unless I transfer to a school that exclusively plays 3-3-5. - Dear EA, I used no expletives in this message and I am not making any attacks at your devs. Please look into fixing this issue.Defensive RTG is unplayable
The coach grade dropping is far too aggressive. This has been stated before, but this fix should be prioritized. - No weighting on defensive grade drops - I get -15 for a gain of 1 on 3rd and 9? Context matters. This isn't offset enough for "defensive stop" - I don't get credit for PBUs for other defenders, but I get deducted if they allow a catch. Same for throw aways? - Good / Great coverage is bugged. Appears randomly - As stated, academics value per energy is not realistic Considering we can adjust exp and sliders, just let us turn on/off the grades. I just want to play without playing 1 drive per quarter before I get dropped. I don't necessarily think this is "skill issue". I think it's unfair to penalize an individual player for a defensive unit. The joy of this game comes from being hercules on a bad squad, but that's impossible if my 64 edge defender can't set the edge while I'm playing cornerback on the opposite side.RTG attributes and upgrade problem
I am like a 90 and have 3 other plat ability's and also unlocked silver sure hands in high school and can't buy 50/50. I've upgraded catching a lot but it doesn't change either spec or contested caching, (There is most likely other stats that don't go up but these are the 2 that I could see). The permanent stat changes from NIL's do make the stats go up and count towards ability's but I don't want it to be the only way because you would have to hope you get the right one which is stupid, which makes me think it wasn't meant to be the only way to get some stats up. Also will I be able to unlock the ability's my player can get from just playing good in high school, like how I did when I got silver sure hands?Serious concerns about Road to Glory High School mode
Dear EA Sports team, As a long-time fan of college football video games, I was incredibly excited for the return of College Football 26. However, I’m genuinely disappointed by the way Road to Glory has been implemented – especially the high school portion. The decision to reduce high school games to short “moments” instead of allowing us to play full games feels like a huge step backward. It removes all immersion, limits player development, and frankly makes the entire pre-college experience feel hollow and rushed. It honestly seems like EA has ignored years of community feedback. We’ve waited over a decade for this game to return – was it really too much to expect the most basic parts of career mode (like full games) to be playable? Right now, Road to Glory feels like a stripped-down, on-rails experience with little freedom or depth. Many of us play offline, and we want the full, classic experience back – with full high school seasons, deeper customization, and meaningful progression. Please take this feedback seriously. We’re not just “moments” players. We want to live the journey – not skip through it. Has anyone that’s played a defensive position ever received a trophy and had it show up in the trophy room? I’ve played 4 years and received awards at the end of the year and they do not show up in the trophy room inside the RTG menu or in the trophy room at the main menu.Cornerback RTG is Completely Unbalanced
The gameplay loop for the CB position appears to be either not working as intended or completely unbalanced. Very rarely is your player rewarded for playing good defense (covering a zone, locking down your man), and a 3rd down stop on a 1 yard run will net you a total of 0 points on the coach happiness/teammate grade meter. With fatigue off, wear & tear off, and auto subs off, you will automatically be removed for at least a drive for hitting F on the aforementioned scale, which is possible if your teammates are the ones failing on defense. A majority of your playing time/coach happiness seems to be dependent on your team when the ball isn’t thrown your way, which to me takes away from the purpose of the entire road to glory aspect of the game mode.Road to Glory is terrible
The “wide” camera angle is terrible. Playing as a CB when you’re on the outside you can’t even see what’s going on including yourself at sometimes. Same old get subbed out randomly even if you’re a 99 starter. gameplay at least in Road to Glory feels fluky and weird. Also have noticed random moments when it’s like the game takes control of my player. I’m trying to turn to the left and he’ll do like a SWAT or he’ll move a different direction than what I’m turning him to. I was hoping to get more positions this year, such as safety, tight end, edge rusher, but at this point, I think they just need to go back to college football 25 and start from there. I enjoyed college football 25 last year and was thinking this year would be even better considering how good it was since it had been so long since NCAA 14. But I was wrong, Instead of improving it has gotten worse. Continuously losing coach trust for every little thing that happens whether it has anything to do with you or not. Overall, very disappointed with the game. I’m really hoping Madden is not the same as college football because if it is, I’m going to be missing the money I wasted.RTG Depth Chart Issues
Having major issues when choosing a specific scholarship package that says that I will start but places me on the bench. When looking at the coast trust, I am farther ahead than the WR1 but still in position battles for WR5. HELP! This has happened on with a QB and WR. I have even committed early to prevent this from happening. My highlight score is above 8000.I became the starting MLB and now my coach has me playing rush left end
This game is so bad for anyone trying to play defense. I am a Mike Linebacker, and towards the end of my freshman year, I finally made the push to become the starter. As I started my sophomore season, I began to realize that I would be forced to lineup as the Left Defensive End for 90-95% of total plays that I can choose from. I am a pass coverage linebacker!!!!!!!!!! What the **bleep**. I have 68 power moves. Why the **bleep** am I lined up there. I also have no choice in the matter at all, and of course, because this game is so fantastic (I am being ironic), You cannot even leave the defensive line pre-snap. I am forced to immediately get blocked by the RT on almost every play, or I have to do a wheel back around into the middle, leaving my team without a left end for every single play. This **bleep** is so **bleep**ing stupid. Please figure this out. I am getting really close to requesting a refund... How tf can you make a game that doesn't let you play as a Left End in RTG, but forces you to play as a Left End when you are a MIKE linebacker. Make it make sense.Chew Clock is an Easy Fix
Road to glory needs to have chew clock, thought there was no way you don’t put it in this year. When you’re up 3-4 touchdowns to speed up gameplay but even in late close games where you want to burn clock… why can’t you put that on. Easy fix and I know it was a big complaint for road to glory last year.
