Are EA servers down?
I give with EA i can't get any help from these people. Madden 26 superstar mode has been down since Sunday Superbowl Sunday. They won't give me no solution to when they will get this fixed. So I decide to go play NCAA college football Road to Glory but it I get error message can't connect to EA servers. EA how hard is this you take our money each year but yet we can't play the games you sell us. BIGBLUE40701Road to Glory Hat Selection Crashing
RTG keeps crashing every time I try I enter the hat selection scene. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’ve rebuilt the database, checked that the system and game is up to date. Deleted all saved data, local and cloud. Reinstalled the game. Cleaned my ps5. Cleared cache on ps5. Restarted my ps5. Deleted existing RTG game files and tried starting new ones. Literally everything outside of hard resetting my console. Which I shouldn’t have to do because this is the only game that crashes my ps5. Is there anything I can do to play this game? Am I missing something? I’ve looked through countless forums and tried to troubleshoot and nothing works. The game remains UNPLAYABLE.Catch animations
Yall gotta add better catch animations this is actually insane, I can’t even do a proper jump ball, and if it is a jump ball my receiver would do the weakest jump animation I have ever seen. Like come on now no way I’m jumping 2 centimeters off the ground and either gets picked off or I completely don’t catch it at all. No way a 6’3 receiver with 99 catch and 98 spectacular catch isn’t winning majority jump balls. I created a backfield threat RB with the thought of having a Speedster Wr in HB form. However, after finally getting takeoff and upgrading up to gold, I am unable to activate the ability. I’ve lined him up in 5 wide settings and not getting pressed and it still doesn’t activate. Disappointing as without takeoff, the backfield threat doesn’t have anything special about it and is useless in RTG. Anyone have tips on what I could be doing wrong?Mental ability won’t upgrade road to glory
I’m at 101 out of 80 for passing TD’s to upgrade field general from gold to platinum but it won’t upgrade. It doesn’t have anything else listed as requirements or anything sayin go have to wait a certain amount of time before I can get it. I don’t understand why it won’t upgrade.Request: Expand Defensive Position Options for Authentic Gameplay
One area where EA Sports games could significantly improve realism and player control is defensive position representation. Offense has benefited from increasingly detailed roles and mechanics, while defense still feels overly compressed into limited position categories. Adding full, distinct defensive positions such as Safety, Outside Linebacker, and Dedicated Defensive Line roles would greatly enhance both realism and gameplay depth. Why this matters: Authentic Player Roles In real football, defensive responsibilities vary drastically by position. A free safety plays fundamentally different football than a strong safety. An outside linebacker is not interchangeable with an edge rusher. Treating these roles as separate positions would better reflect real-life schemes and player skill sets. Improved Team-Building and Progression Player development would feel more meaningful if attributes and upgrades were tied to true positional roles. Drafting, training, and progressing a safety or an outside linebacker would feel intentional instead of forced into a generic defensive mold. Deeper Strategy and Playcalling Expanded positions allow for smarter AI logic, better matchups, and more strategic substitutions. Defensive schemes like Cover 3, Nickel, or 3–4 formations would feel more accurate and rewarding to run. Competitive Balance Defense often feels reactionary compared to offense. Adding clearer positional identities would give defensive players more agency and reduce reliance on exploits or animation-based outcomes. This change would not only benefit simulation-focused players but also competitive and casual players who want defense to feel as engaging and varied as offense. Expanding defensive positions is a logical next step in pushing the franchise toward a more authentic and balanced football experience. Hopefully this is something the team seriously considers for future updates.This game is unacceptable
Wow. I am in utter disbelief as i'm playing RTG and tell me why, with 2 timeouts left and 28 seconds left on the clock. Down by 1 point to Ohio state. You would think i can call a timeout to either go for a TD or let the CPU kick the field goal. You would think! I GET SUBBED OUT AND THE CLOCK RUNS OUT! How? Why? We literally won the game, and there was no play called after I got subbed out. Unless they were working for vegas why would a team do that?RTG Missing Key Positions
RTG is missing key players that need to be an option to build and play as. We need to be able to play as a Defensive Lineman, Safety, and Tight End. Not only are these key players, but defensively, D-Line and Safety would be some of the most fun positions to play as. Tight end is another position that would be great to play. EA, please take note. This needs to be added asap.CFB 27 | RTG Character Customization request
While playing RTG on CFB 26, I noticed that a variety of customization options were already available in RTG. However, I was disappointed to learn that I was unable to have my hair visible under the helmet while in-game, unlike some of the AI characters, which had that option. This, among many things, is something I would love to see added in the next installment of the College Football franchise. Hair: I would love to see more hair options added to the game. Nothing overly specific is needed, but increased variety would go a long way in improving player individuality and overall immersion. Additionally, allowing RTG players to have visible hair under their helmets—just like certain AI players—would be a major improvement. Mouthguards: I liked the fact that mouthguards were included in CFB 26, but I was disappointed that there was no option for a hanging mouthguard. Hanging mouthguards are extremely common in real college football and would be a great addition not only to RTG but across all EA football titles. If added, I would love to see many different colored versions since some players use pink, white, neon green, blue, etc. Not just the standard team color 1, team color 2, etc. Masks / Ski Masks: Ski masks are something many football players wear for both warmth and style, especially during cold-weather games. It would be great to have multiple ways to wear them, such as a fully pulled-up ski mask covering the nose and mouth, or a half-down version where the mask rests below the mouth or chin. Some players also wear them with the nose covered but the mouth exposed. Having preset styles like these would add realism and allow for better player expression. High School Customization: A great addition to the high school portion of RTG would be the ability to earn customization rewards after committing to a college. This could include helmet stickers representing the committed school, as well as gloves or cleats tied to that program. These additions would give more weight to the commitment decision and make it feel more meaningful. College visits would also be an excellent addition to the mode, adding another layer of immersion to the recruiting process. Helmets: While playing RTG in CFB 26, I noticed that some helmets fit awkwardly on certain player models. One example is the Axium helmet, which can make the character appear as if they lack a neck. A potential solution would be allowing players to adjust helmet positioning, such as raising it slightly or changing the tilt angle, so helmets fit the player’s head more naturally. Skinny Body Type: When using the skinny body type, the shoulder pads appear noticeably higher compared to the lean body type, even when both are using the smallest pad size. While this is more of a personal preference, adding sliders for shoulder pad height or fit would allow for more precise and personalized customization.
