AHQ Languages: At the moment the following languages are supported on Answers HQ for many games: English Deutsch Español Français Русский форум Português Jezyk polski Italian Nederlands Whilst many games are supported in different languages by their own AnswersHQ and EA staff who speak that language as their first language, here in Tiberium Alliances we have a German AHQ and an International Forum aka English. Posts should be made in English here (and in German in the German AHQ). If you wish, post in both your own language and in English. Google translate works well with many languages and there are other translation options on the internet for many languages. Answers will only be given in English, generally with either American or British spelling of words. This is an out of date post . Updated information is below in bold and is correct as of February 2025. AHQ has now closed for new posts. In here posts should be made in English only and any replies should be in English - American or British spelling of words will be the norm. There is a new forum for those who wish to post in German. With the language set to German the the forum appears. Similar rules apply there and posts should only be in German. Not an official announcement, but something that was drawn to my attention by another player: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3106530/Command__Conquer_Tiberium_Alliances/ It seems that a Steam version of the game is 'Coming Soon'. Maybe we'll get more information via an official announcement nearer the real launch date, well we can hope!72Views2likes0Comments- BlackrockEnjoyer6 months agoNew Rookie46Views0likes0Comments
Abandon Base
My idea is to not just move a base but completely start that base again. Every now and again I have a base which I hate. Quite often the initial base. I would like to see the option of being able to abandon and exchange an existing base for an MCV and found a new base. (hopefully with better tiberium, crystal and potential power/refinery layout) The initial MCV resources would be down to the developers to decide.850Views0likes0CommentsOLD FORUM ARCHIVE
Whilst EA didn't archive the old forum, the Wayback Machine has multiple copies of the forum dating from a long time ago! Command & Conquer - English — EA Forums (archive.org) is from the previous one which ran from around 2017 until 2023. Unfortunately the German language version appears not to be archived in depth. Not every post/thread will necessarily be there, but looking around i've found quite a few.1.4KViews0likes0CommentsWCS2023 - Countdown Nr. 3 - Interview with freezy (united-forum)
Today I have no introductory words - so short and painful^^: Image link: https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2015/11/02/12/31/interview-1018333_1280.png, license: https://pixabay.com/de/service/license-summary/ leo7044: Hello freezy, today I would like to interview you and ask you a few questions. All answers are purely voluntary. Just say what you want to say and keep quiet if you don't want to say anything. You are known as one of the heads of united-forum.de. Many old hands from the past will recognize your name and that of your alliance. Please introduce yourself for all those who don't know you (anymore) and for those who just like to reminisce. freezy: I'm freezy, one of the admins of united-forum.de, which was the biggest German community forum at the height of C&C's international fame. We have been covering C&C games since the early 2000s. Accordingly, we also wanted to be part of TA to write news as well as strategy guides for the game. We were also able to recruit many players from the UF community for Tiberium Alliances, where we started in several worlds as UF Alliance, where I always acted as one of the CiCs. First there was the international server Closed Beta 1, the first TA server ever. When we started there, there were no POIs, no Forgotten Attacks, no Nod faction and no endgame, these things were added later. The developers themselves also played on the server. At some point, the endgame was added to TA and there was a race in several beta servers to see which alliance would reach the endgame first. In the end, it was our UF alliance that was the first to reach the endgame. We also streamed this on the UF Twitch channel at the time, so it was also the first public broadcast of an endgame. We also had a big presence on the first German server, World 1, where we were also one of the alliances that made it to the endgame. Shoutout at this point to the Seven Sins. We also recruited new players on this world, who then joined us on the first WCS. The fight there was of course very tough and was certainly the most challenging world for us. In the end, nVidia won this server, congratulations again. The UF alliance was the first non-nVidia affiliated alliance to reach the endgame on the server. This was also the last official world of the UF Alliance. I'm sure many of their players continued to play in other alliances on other worlds, but I can't comment on that. The United-Forum as a website itself continued to exist and covered other C&C games. In the meantime, however, it has to be said that both the heyday of C&C and the heyday of forums are over, so things have quietened down a bit. leo7044: Well then, curious as I am, I must now ask what has become of you and why you no longer play? freezy: These days I just don't have time for TA anymore due to my job and other private projects. The battles with other alliances in TA and the cohesion of my own alliance were epic, they were definitely great and exciting times. But you realize that after several worlds you've run out of steam at some point, and you realize that another world would mostly just mean stress and drama. Especially if you want to play as the CiC of an alliance and have to take care of everything. But even as a normal player - to play in an alliance that wants to be at the forefront, you need a lot of commitment and time. You have to log in regularly at certain times to be able to pull together with the alliance. That simply clashes too much with real life. So you probably won't find me in TA any more. But if you are interested in keeping in touch with me or want to talk about old times, you can still find me on united-forum.de (https://www.united-forum.de/members/freezy.2404/). I would be delighted to read from old companions again. Old enemies are just as welcome as old friends, nowadays you can certainly smile about a lot of things from back then. I'm also developing my own indie game, to which I devote most of my free time. It's a futuristic top-down shooter called "Hyper Tanks", where you control a tank and shoot your way through arenas full of enemies in various single-player and multiplayer modes. If you're interested, you can find it on Steam and wishlist it <3 I wish all participants in WCS2023 good luck and success! leo7044: Thank you for your comments and back to the studio at my desk. The next interview will be published in exactly one week at the start of the WCS. The interview partner has been chosen - stay tuned. The countdown is counting down mercilessly - exactly 2 weeks to go until the launch. So it smells like another interview. Image link: https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2015/11/02/12/31/interview-1018333_1280.png, license: https://pixabay.com/de/service/license-summary/ leo7044: Hello Bruellhusten, today I would like to interview you and ask you a few questions. All answers are purely voluntary. Just say what you want to say and keep quiet if you don't want to say anything. You have completed many worlds and won them all. Your name stands for the alliance known to this day as "Project". But that wasn't your only project. You were also part of the management of "Teletubbies", "Ultimate" and "High Speed". Your biggest success is undoubtedly the WCS2021 victory as CiC of "Project Alpha". Tell us a bit about yourself. Who are you and what do you do when you're not playing this game? Bruellhusten: Hey Leo! I'm Justus, now 34 years old and I started playing CNCTA on a US world ages ago. World 19 I think. I'm a software developer, which means I spend half my day in front of the PC. Competitive multiplayer games have always appealed to me. CNCTA, along with many other games, was the longest stage. leo7044: Thank you very much for the insights into yourself. Please tell us how you came across this game and how you became who you are today in-game. Why don't you also tell us how the "Project" alliance was founded and how you came up with the alliance name "Teletubbies." 😀 Bruellhusten: Ok, this is getting longer. I came across the game early on in the hype phase. Someone said "Hey, there's a new Command & Conquer game" and as a fan, of course I had to play it. I didn't play the first worlds as a leader, it wasn't until the first WCS that I came across TrueADM, who got me into Ultimate Veterans. The world went okay, but in the end we lost very clearly to nVidia. We really took off at the Forgotten Attacks Beta, where sudakoma - the third in our Command trio - also joined us. After winning the Forgotten Attacks beta, the real big challenge followed: the anniversary server World 100 - my personal favorite server, more on that in the next question. After World 100, the Teletubbies were born. In preparation for World 107, someone suggested that alliance names don't matter at all - "if you win worlds, everything will be cool at some point". The result was a start on 107 with the main Teletubbies and the Wings Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles. Whether the name was ever cool - no idea. In any case, some people still remember us. Unfortunately, the next WCS started while the 107 was running and had not yet been decided. As a result, most people wanted to continue playing the world. A WCS didn't have the same significance back then as it did then, so only a few of us started with nVidia. We won the two speed servers with players from nVidia and Ultimate. The next big challenge came with the WCS 2017. There we started as an Ultimate alliance and competed against Mara and Schaffa, who played very strongly. We formed an alliance with Dragonclaws and then fought a war for the middle for a good 3 months, in which we were defeated. After that, CNCTA was over for me for the time being. It wasn't until the start of COVID that pillsbury really brought me back into the game. In the meantime, there was another disappointing WCS for the international teams. The main problem identified was that everyone was too scattered and a lot of pretty good teams still can't beat a really good team. On the first world I was only a member and the team there was inferior to Uncle_JOO's alliance with TTD as ally. The problem was identified and we sat down with TTD to forge a new, stronger alliance that could take on Schaffa in the next WCS. The WCS didn't come for ages and so Project grew from server to server and became a really well-rehearsed team. leo7044: What was the most challenging world for you? Bruellhusten: That's not so easy to answer. The toughest challenge was probably WCS2017, where we ultimately failed and broke as Ultimate. But the most competitive world was probably World 100. I'll try to keep it short, because members of the United forum did a comprehensive report back then: (Interview with me back then in part 5) https://www.united-forum.de/cci/server-report-welt100-brennt/ World 100 was a small world (5000 players). And at that time nVidia was considered invincible after winning the first WCS. With the announcement that nVidia was starting World 100, every successful alliance was completely focused on knocking Nvidia off the throne. So were we. As winners of the Forgotten Attacks beta, we had a huge influx of players and built a gigantic group of alliances. We joined forces with LOL and Unbreakable as the Ultimate Alliance to defeat nVidia. Across all three federations, we had more than 30 alliances to coordinate. Back then it was all done via Skype. Some alliances had barely more than 10 squares of frontline to the bases, we had to organize regular mergers so that everyone had an equal chance, but in the end a few strong alliances emerged. We had a main alliance with the most top players - Ultimate Reloaded - and a PVP alliance preparing for an early war with nVidia. We had a French PVP team around Azeus, CoccaCaviar, shadowar and many others who pulled off an extreme PVP farming drill the likes of which I've never seen since. Thanks to this team, we managed to shoot our way through 3 full and strong nVidia alliances before the fourth bases with only about 20 players and in the end, with the help of LOL, who captured the most important resonator at the right moment, completely drove the nVidia main alliance out of their home sector. With the help of the second main alliance, nVidia then jumped on our backs and there was a long and hard PVP battle in which both alliances were equally strong. After clear indications of a betrayal and since Unbreakable and LOL refused to help us any further, we allied ourselves with nVidia so that two beneficiaries would not decide the world for themselves. After a few days of PVP, we won the world together with nVidia. You can still see players with Ultimate Nvidia badges from World 100 today. leo7044: It sounds like you've been able to gain some experience in this game. Will we see you and/or "Project" at WCS2023? Do you have anything planned? I'll remind you again that you don't have to answer or make up something for the rumor mill. After all, this interview should not be a disadvantage for you and/or your alliance. Bruellhusten: I can answer that clearly. Project itself will not be playing on the WCS. However, not all Project players have given up the game. After WCS2021, many new alliances have emerged from Project and some will also participate in the WCS. Personally, I just don't have the time to play a Morale server. I have played enough of these servers myself and know how long such a world takes and how much time it takes. Nevertheless, I hope for an exciting WCS, which I will follow from afar. leo7044: Just for kicks, how many times would you be told regarding your nickname, "I'd see a doctor with that cough?" Bruellhusten: Only when I've coughed in the Voice. It's actually interesting how people take the name differently. Most people think it's funny, but some find the name aggressive because it means "roaring"... and a farmer once complained vehemently that it's a bad disease in pigs and that it's not funny at all. What you don't learn.^^ leo7044: Thank you for your comments and back to the studio at my desk. The next interview will be published in exactly one week's time next Thursday. Who do you think I should interview? Feel free to write me your wishes in the comments, via PN or on Discord. A cheerful "hiho" to the C&C:TA round. The WCS starts in 3 weeks. What could be better than starting a countdown and heating up the atmosphere a little? The countdown consists of 4 interviews. We start with OpaSmash. Image link: https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2015/11/02/12/31/interview-1018333_1280.png, license: https://pixabay.com/de/service/license-summary/ leo7044: Hello OpaSmash, today I would like to interview you and ask you a few questions. All answers are purely voluntary. Just say what you want to say and keep quiet if you don't want to say anything. You have already completed several worlds and won them all. Your name stands for the alliance "nVidia", which is still known today. Without a doubt, your greatest achievements are the WCS2013 and WCS2015 victories as CiC of "nVidia". Tell us a bit about yourself. Who are you and what do you do when you're not playing this game? OpaSmash: My real name is Manu and I'm now 35 years old. I played my first WCS as a student... which was over 10 years ago now. After the two WCSs and graduation, I had some time on my hands and founded my first company. I've been playing Real Life ever since. leo7044: Thank you very much for the insights into yourself. Please tell us how you came across this game and how you became who you are today in-game. Please also tell us how the "nVidia" alliance was founded. OpaSmash: I came to CNC:TA through another gaming companion with whom I had already been playing another browser game for many years. Looking for a new challenge, we both stuck with CNC:TA. I started on world 5, long after the server had launched, of course, and was completely clueless when it came to trying things out. At that time, the Nod faction hadn't even been unlocked yet. After a bit of banter on this world, I decided to take off with a few others on world 13. We founded our own alliance (nVidia) and I became CiC. We prevailed against the dominant alliances on the server and later took over the best players. In the end, we won the server. So it went on to the next and the next and so on, until the first WCS... and then the second. We had a good run. leo7044: What was the most challenging world for you? OpaSmash: Mhh... hard to say. Every world had a different challenge and different events. I think the biggest challenges were often when the last enemy of the world was defeated, but the endgame was not yet complete. Keeping the motivation high enough here so that not everyone was already starting the next world was definitely way ahead. Also, worlds where multiaccounts and base capping were used more and more are definitely high on the list. leo7044: It sounds like you've been able to gain quite a bit of experience in this game. Will we see you and/or "nVidia" at WCS2023? Do you have something planned? I'll remind you again that you don't have to answer or make something up for the rumor mill. After all, this interview should not be a disadvantage for you and/or your alliance. OpaSmash: Not likely. For one thing, my priorities are in RL and for another, I'm absolutely not a fan of multiaccount gaming. And since there are no more clothes to win, I've somehow lost my motivation. #joggingpantsmissing leo7044: Thank you for your comments and back to the studio to my desk. The next interview will be published in exactly one week's time next Thursday. Who do you think I should interview? Feel free to write your wishes in the comments, via PN or on Discord. Hello Commanders! We've recently made the decision to bring our Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances community together in one place here on the Answers HQ forums. Here you can continue your discussions about the game and are free to start your threads up again or copy and paste some of your guides, tips or anything important to you! As a quick reminder, if you’ve posted on C&C Vanilla Forums and you do not have an AHQ account, it’s recommended that you set up an AHQ account with the same email address you used on Vanilla Forums so that we can properly identify the original author for these migrated posts. We currently don't have a solidified timeline for migrating the other Vanilla forum's content, so once again, if you want to make sure you can access everything, please feel free to create some new posts about it here. You can also make sure to use the same username that will make it easier to recognize each other. To change your username, click on your name in the top right and then "EA Account". Your AHQ account is your EA account as well, and then changing your EA ID will change your username on AHQ. Once you've changed it, make sure to log out and back it and it should be updated. If you are new to Answers HQ, I would recommend checking out this walkthrough that explains some of the basics - 💡 Getting started on Answers HQ!
