Dear EA Team, I am reaching out on behalf of Intracon GmbH, a Germany-based event agency. We are currently organizing partner events for our client Hewlett-Packard, who is a sponsor of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team. As part of these events, HP would like to feature sim racing stations to enhance the attendee experience. To that end, we are very interested in integrating EA Sports F1 2024, and later F1 2025, into our racing setups. Although the use of our racing stations will be free of charge for all participants and intended purely for entertainment, we assume a commercial license might still be required. Could you please advise whether a commercial license is necessary in this case, and if so, how we can obtain one and whom we should contact? Alternatively, is the standard license sufficient given there is no direct commercial benefit associated with the gameplay? Thank you in advance for your support – we’re looking forward to your guidance. I think it would be really cool if the F1 games had more realistic crash barriers and tyre walls. At the moment, when you crash into them, they often feel like a solid wall. In real F1, tyre barriers and other safety barriers can absorb some of the impact and slow the car down. It would be really cool if the game could make them react more realistically depending on the speed and angle of the crash. I think it would make crashes feel way more realistic and immersive, especially for F1 Esports. I hope this could be considered for a future F1 game.MIRAMKD23092 days agoNewcomer13Views0likes0CommentsF1 27 Suggestion Megathread
Hey all, I thought it might be prudent to start a mega thread for ideas people would like to see, and to help EA_Groguet easily narrow down and see ideas into a single thread, unless there's one already, in which case, I am sure he will adjust this post accordingly. My first idea was regarding My Team, where, with the introduction of hiring 2 drivers, it would be more ideal to make it more of a manager style game mode. That way, who you hire would be more important. For example, if you decide to go the "Team Manager" route, and hire two drivers to drive for your team, why not have an option where the player can watch the race unfold instead of having to play as one of the drivers. So the player creates their team, hires their drivers, decides how long the races are, etc. When it comes to starting the race weekend, or qualifying, there's an option for "Watch Simulation" to watch your AI cars in a replay/broadcast mode as the session unfolds. So the player can watch a "Broadcast replay" as the race happens live. This would be awesome, I think. Additionally, there should be an "Owner/driver" mode for those who want to race as themselves in their own team instead. It's not the most realistic option, sure, but it's not wholly a bad thing. Another suggestion I'd have for My Team and Driver Career, is the option to have "Varying Peak R&D potential" for all the other teams in the game. The current games feel very rigid in their peak R&D, and it would be nice to see the AI teams have a small variation in performance every season, to help rotate the grids around a bit more, and make those driver transfers a bit more exciting, instead of just all the top talent going to the same top teams. A third, slightly more out there option, is the option to create additional drivers for the driver market in the game. With the official license for F1 and F2 already being there, it makes the driver market very limited in who you can hire and how they grow. Being able to add a couple of fictional, own created drivers to the market would help the game wonders. EA FC games have had this feature for years, and the idea of being create your own drivers to help pad out a repetitive driver market would also help. You can set a "Current ability" and a "Potential ability" and the game can randomly decide these stats when the career modes are started. This has been proven possible in other licenced F1 games, so I don't think this is too impossible. If you wanted to make yourself, a friend, or even a custom prodigy or meme driver, this feature could let you do that. Players can name them, audio name, nationality and driver number. (Drivers using that number can be randomly assigned a different one if the player chooses that number.) A fourth option for driver career mode would be to add a custom 12th team onto the grid that's controlled by an AI. This effectively works as expanding the grid like it does in My Team, but for driver career, giving more chances for driver moves and people coming into F1. Additionally, please add the ability to make the driver market more volatile in driver career mode, as this option isn't a thing in the game at the moment. Do you guys have any additional ideas? Put them in the thread below.TheBlackReaver2 days agoRising Traveler101Views1like3CommentsF1® 25: 2026 Season Pack - Patch 1.24 Discussion Thread

Hi EA and the F1 team! I’d like to make a request regarding the Red Bull Racing Japanese Grand Prix special livery from 2025. This was one of my favorite special liveries from the 2025 season, and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to obtain it when it was originally available. I know that some special liveries are tied to limited-time Challenges or events, but I think it would be great if previously released liveries could occasionally return. Would it be possible to bring the 2025 Red Bull Japanese GP livery back to F1 25 through a new Challenge, F1 World event, or another way of unlocking it? Even making it available for a limited time would be amazing. There are probably other players who missed the original event and would love another opportunity to earn it. I completely understand that special liveries are intended to be limited rewards, but giving players a second chance after some time could be a great way to keep older content relevant while also making the community happy. Please consider bringing the Red Bull Japan 2025 special livery back! 🇯🇵🔴🐂 Thank you for reading, and thank you to everyone working on F1 25! 🏎️esti0223 days agoSeasoned Newcomer54Views2likes1Comment[DISCUSSION] F1® UDP FUTURE REQUESTS
Hey drivers! We want to hear from you! We are working hard on UDP for future F1® products, and they want to hear from you! Is there any feature request for future development of the UDP telemetry system you would like to see implemented? Do you have any suggestions or feedback on future products? I see new avatars when creating my own driver. Since F1 2016 I used one that was similar to me. Now it's gone and these new ones are cool but few and none of them suit me. Give back those old avatars and leave the new ones too. The more the better. Of course it would be best to have an editor to create a character (height, skin color, hair, eyes...).r083rtf14 days agoSeasoned Veteran954Views6likes6CommentsPlease Bring Back the Russian Flag 🇷🇺
Please Bring Back the Russian Flag 🇷🇺 EA/Codemasters, could you please consider bringing back the Russian flag as a driver nationality in F1 25 / the 2026 Season Pack? F1 25 is the official Formula 1 game and aims to represent the real championship as accurately as possible. Since the FIA has recently lifted the previous restrictions on Russian and Belarusian competitors, Russian drivers are once again allowed to compete under the Russian flag. Because of this, having Russian drivers represented as “Rest of the World” no longer reflects the current FIA rules. This isn't a political request — it's simply about keeping the official F1 game accurate and up to date with the real sport. Please consider restoring 🇷🇺 Russia as an available nationality. If you would also like to see the Russian flag return, please support this thread so EA/Codemasters can see the community's interest. Thank you!Gleb_Zolotoy4 days agoSeasoned Newcomer32Views1like0CommentsF1 26 Crossplay – Multiple Serious Multiplayer Bugs
Platform: PC Game: F1 26 Game Mode: Online Multiplayer / Crossplay Crossplay: Enabled I am experiencing multiple serious bugs during crossplay multiplayer races. The following issues are occurring: Multiple players are disconnected from the lobby at the same time. The entire lobby can suddenly crash/disappear. The steering wheel disconnects during a race. Game audio suddenly disappears. The race time counter becomes incorrect or stops working properly. Force Feedback (FFB) suddenly disappears from gamepads/controllers. Players are sometimes unable to enter the lobby. “Online Services Error” occurs repeatedly. Players can lose connection to online services during multiplayer sessions. These problems occur repeatedly during crossplay multiplayer. The combination of these issues makes crossplay multiplayer extremely difficult to play. In particular, when multiple players are removed from the same lobby at the same time, this appears to be more than an individual player’s internet connection problem. I would like EA to investigate whether there is a server-side or crossplay synchronization problem. Please investigate: Crossplay lobby stability Multiplayer server synchronization Connection/disconnection handling Steering wheel and controller FFB communication Audio communication between the game and online session Race timer synchronization “Online Services Error” occurring repeatedly Players being unable to join crossplay lobbies This issue is significantly affecting online multiplayer and crossplay. I can provide videos, screenshots, error messages, Report Codes, platform information, and details from affected players if required. Please investigate this as a potential crossplay/server-side issue rather than treating each player’s connection as an individual problem. Thank you.Tsuba0118075 days agoSeasoned Newcomer16Views3likes0CommentsMajor Issues: Unfair Penalties, Aggressive AI, and PC Tech Level Bug
F1 25 is really starting to lose its fun. Not only are all PC players being discriminated against (cars get slower instead of faster past Tech Level 600), but you even get penalties with ZERO car contact. Just getting too close to another car is enough. At the same time, the AI rear-ends you, intentionally drives right between your wheels, or abruptly moves under braking. In every single case, it causes an instant spin or heavy damage. And of course, you're the one getting penalized for it—otherwise it'd be boring, right? Is the game going to be updated to the new energy management regulations?dwin206 days agoSeasoned Hotshot205Views2likes7CommentsBetter upgrade options.
EA_cuervo it would be nice to see a better upgrade menu with different options. The current set up has you selecting predetermined upgrades that are all around the same no matter what. It would be nice to have a different style menu where you could select different upgrades for different tracks that affect the car in different ways and also select different style upgrades that may impact your performance in the race. This would add a higher level of reality to the game as well as Get players thinking about what they really wanna do with their cars upgrade wise, instead of just picking from the generic style upgrades and it’ll give you better options for personalizing the vehicles also throughout your season game.33Views1like1CommentIdeas for F1 27 (re-make in a more structured way)
To the EA & Codemasters Development Team, Following up on my initial thoughts, I wanted to provide a structured, detailed breakdown of my community wishlist for F1 27. As a console player on PlayStation, I cannot rely on PC mods to enhance realism, making these native features vital for the next-generation F1 experience. Expanded Career Mode Depth & Financial Realism - Infinite R&D Ecosystem: Replace the linear, capped R&D trees with an "infinite" upgrade system, allowing teams to continuously develop minor performance gains year after year. - Financial Cost Cap Integration: Implement a true-to-life cost cap mechanic. Upgrades must carry precise financial costs, forcing players to strategically balance their budget between aerodynamic, chassis, and powertrain development. - Extended Career Lifespan: Increase the maximum career mode length from 10 seasons to 15-20 seasons to maximize the value of long-term driver transfers and team evolutions. - Grid Team Management: Allow players the option to take full control of existing, real-world teams on the current grid in Career Mode, rather than being restricted to creating a new 12th team. - Equal Performance "Development Race" Mode: Add a career sandbox option where all teams start with identical car performance on Race 1, kicking off a season-long (or more) development race governed by the cost cap to see which AI or player team manages their budget most efficiently. Immersive Mechanical Failures & In-Game Scenarios - Dynamic MFD & Radio Failures: Introduce scenario-based electrical glitches where the team radio cuts out or specific MFD menus become temporarily blocked due to software issues. - Expanded Mechanical Failures: Increase the frequency and variety of mechanical DNFs. Brakes should be manageable with real risks of overheating or catching fire, and rear-wing DRS failures should have more realistic, unpredictable aerodynamic outcomes. - Humanized AI Behavior: Make the AI less robotic and "perfect." AI drivers should be prone to organic, unforced errors, causing realistic Lap 1 pile-ups or mid-race crashes without requiring player intervention. Advanced Customization & My Team Options - Proprietary Engine Supplier: Expand the My Team engine selection by allowing players to fund and build their own independent engine manufacturing facility, rather than relying strictly on Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull Powertrains, or Renault. - Next-Gen Customization Engine: Leverage the character-scanning technology utilized in EA Sports FC to allow console players to scan their own faces for realistic driver avatars. - Deep Livery & Logo Suite: Expand the livery, team logo, and helmet editors with significantly more granular detail controls and a wider selection of real-world secondary sponsors. Thank you for reviewing this detailed breakdown. Implementing these features would vastly bridge the gap between console and PC players, and make the game more fun to play and realistic.75Views1like4CommentsNew game sugeston
Feature Request: F1 LEGENDS — Historic Drivers, Cars & Championships Hello EA Sports and Codemasters, I would like to suggest a new game mode for a future F1 title called F1 LEGENDS. The idea is to create a dedicated historical mode that allows players to experience the history of Formula 1 through real legendary drivers, cars, teams, circuits and championships. Rather than simply adding a few classic cars, the goal would be to make the history of F1 fully playable. 🏆 1. Historic Drivers + Their Legendary Cars Players should be able to select legendary drivers and race with the cars they are famous for. For example: 🇧🇷 Ayrton Senna — McLaren MP4/4 🇩🇪 Michael Schumacher — Ferrari F2004 🇬🇧 Nigel Mansell — Williams FW14B 🇫🇷 Alain Prost — McLaren MP4/4 🇫🇮 Mika Häkkinen — McLaren MP4/13 🇪🇸 Fernando Alonso — Renault R25/R26 🇬🇧 Lewis Hamilton — McLaren MP4-23 / Mercedes 🇩🇪 Sebastian Vettel — Red Bull RB6 The important part would be that the driver and the historically accurate car are connected, rather than having classic drivers and classic cars as completely separate features. 🏁 2. Full Historic Championships Players should be able to replay complete historical seasons. For example: 1988 Senna vs Prost 1994 Schumacher vs Hill 2000 Schumacher vs Häkkinen 2004 Schumacher vs Alonso 2008 Hamilton vs Massa 2010 Vettel vs Alonso vs Webber 2021 Hamilton vs Verstappen The player could either recreate history or change the outcome. 🔥 3. Dream Championship This could be the biggest feature. Players could create a championship containing drivers and cars from different eras. For example: Ayrton Senna — McLaren MP4/4 vs Michael Schumacher — Ferrari F2004 vs Lewis Hamilton — Mercedes W11 vs Sebastian Vettel — Red Bull RB9 vs Fernando Alonso — Renault R25 All competing in the same championship. This would finally allow players to explore the question: Who would be the greatest F1 driver if the legends from different generations could race against each other? ⚙️ 4. Historically Accurate Cars The cars shouldn’t just be different skins. Each car should have its own: Engine sound Engine characteristics Aerodynamics Weight Braking behaviour Tyres Gearbox Downforce Acceleration Handling Reliability Driving a 1988 McLaren MP4/4 should feel completely different from driving a 2004 Ferrari F2004 or a 2021 Mercedes W11. 🎮 5. Two Performance Options Historical Performance Cars perform as realistically as possible according to their actual era. Equal Performance All cars are balanced so that the player can focus on the driver’s ability rather than technological differences. This would allow players to answer: Who is the greatest driver of all time? 🔀 6. “What If?” Mode A special mode could allow players to rewrite F1 history. For example: What if Senna had continued racing after 1994? What if Schumacher had driven for McLaren? What if Alonso had driven the Ferrari F2004? What if Hamilton had driven the McLaren MP4/4? What if Vettel and Schumacher had raced in the same era? Players could create completely fictional championships using real historical drivers and cars. 🏛️ 7. F1 Legends Museum The game could also include an interactive museum. Selecting a car such as the Ferrari F2004 could display: Driver Team Season Engine Technical specifications Wins Pole positions Championships Historical photographs Historical information This would make the game not only entertaining but also a way for younger fans to learn about Formula 1 history. 🌍 8. Multiplayer Legends Championships Players could race online using legendary drivers and cars. For example: Player 1: Senna — MP4/4 Player 2: Schumacher — F2004 Player 3: Hamilton — W11 Player 4: Vettel — RB9 Players could even create an entire online championship using legendary drivers. 📚 9. Different F1 Eras The mode could be divided into historical eras: 1950s–1970s Fangio, Moss, Clark, Stewart… 1980s Senna, Prost, Mansell, Piquet… 1990s Schumacher, Häkkinen, Hill, Villeneuve… 2000s Schumacher, Alonso, Räikkönen, Montoya, Button… 2010s Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso, Rosberg… Modern Era Hamilton, Verstappen, Leclerc, Norris… This could eventually become the largest playable collection of F1 history ever created. 💡 Why I think this would be special Classic cars are already a great feature, but I believe fans would love to see them taken much further. Instead of simply: “Here are some classic cars.” it could become: “Here is the history of Formula 1. Now you can race it.” Imagine being able to start a championship as Ayrton Senna in the MP4/4, then race against Schumacher in the F2004, Alonso in the R25, Vettel in the RB9 and Hamilton in the W11. That would give players an experience that no current F1 game fully provides. F1 LEGENDS Rewrite History. Race the Legends. I believe this could become one of the most exciting features ever introduced to the F1 game series. Thank you for considering the idea, and I hope the development team sees it!gongas20ano7 days agoRising Newcomer17Views1like0CommentsBUG - UI - Hulkenberg and Hakkinen names are incorrect
There is currently a bug in the game in which Nico HÜLKENBERG and Mika HÄKKINEN's names are incorrectly written in the UI. Mika HÄKKINEN is actually correctly written in the subtitles when read off the starting grid, so I don't understand why their UI names are incorrect here. Respectively, they should be written as "Nico HÜLKENBERG" and "Mika HÄKKINEN" Method of Reproduction 1. Boot the game 2. Enter My Team 3. Set up a save file with "Icons Enabled", specifically, Mika HAKKINEN 4. Enter the main menu of My Team 5. Go to the driver market. 6. Find Mika HAKKINEN and Nico HULKENBERG 7. Observe how their names are incorrectly spelt with missing umlauts. 8. Find "Joshua DÜRKSEN" and observe that he correctly has the umlaut in his name. This bug is mostly just a consistency fix and to make sure the names are correctly spelt.TheBlackReaver9 days agoRising Traveler62Views1like2CommentsProposal: Adding the real liveries for each Grand Prix
Hello, F1 25 is a video game that, as you yourselves have presented, aims to represent the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship season. For this reason, I believe it would be a good opportunity to add an option that brings more realism and, at the same time, a fresh feel to the game. My suggestion would be to include an option called "Real liveries to each Grand Prix”, available in both Grand Prix Mode and on Career Mode Pre-Season. I believe this option would provide greater immersion and variety, especially in Grand Prix and Career modes, and would allow F1 25 to better reflect the real 2025 season. Furthermore, to avoid issues if a particular livery has not been unlocked at time it was available, I propose that in such cases the car automatically uses the default livery. This way, players interested in obtaining it would have an additional incentive to complete the corresponding Weekly Challenge Series and unlock the livery. I hope you will consider this suggestion. I think it would be a relatively simple addition. Best regards, and thank youaitorico939 days agoRising Newcomer16Views0likes0CommentsOverhaul needed for f1 my team!
Let's all agree that myteam has been stagnant now for 4 f1 games and feels too repetitive of the game each year, my idea completely changes how the game is played to make practice sessions more fun, qualifying more tense and races more valuable. Firstly, R&D. Everyone knows that in real f1, developments don't always make the cars quicker as concepts and real life designs don't always work out as planned. So why in f1 games are they always upgrades? I belive you should be able to develop small parts of your car e.g the front axels to a select specific designs within regulations and use your knowledge from research points to see if this will develop your car right. Going in to practice you will truly see off of simulations if this has improved your track time which makes practice more important to play instead of quick simming. You would have the chance after practice to keep, delay or scrap your new parts by using sim data to help decide. Overall you should be able to change and develop parts of your car without 100% guarantee it will fit right with the balance of your car. For example if you develop to a no pod sidepod, but have no engine power, you will severely struggle down the straights and will force you to scrap or delay the development until you have gained a better engine. We can agree this will make preparations for qualifying more tense and make practice feel fun and engaging. I have expansions on these ideas aswellwn07v3ikifv29 days agoSeasoned Newcomer58Views0likes2CommentsF1 World Tech Level: Can we finally get a clear explanation from EA?
EA_Groguet I’ve been playing F1 World since launch, and after months of updates, there’s still one feature that is unnecessarily confusing: Tech Level progression. Many players eventually hit a wall around TL 914 (or another apparent cap), and from that point onward, the game does a poor job of explaining what we’re actually supposed to do next. Is it a hard cap? Is it a soft cap? Do we need specific events? Specific part rarities? A hidden progression system? Or is it simply bugged? The problem isn’t that progression is slow. The problem is that we’re left guessing. I’ve seen countless posts here and on Reddit asking the exact same questions, which tells me this isn’t an isolated issue. If so many players are confused, then the game isn’t communicating the system clearly enough. It would be incredibly helpful if EA added: A clear explanation of how Tech Level progression works. An indicator showing why progression has stopped. Information about any soft caps or progression requirements. Better in-game guidance instead of forcing players to search forums for answers. This isn’t a complaint about difficulty. I actually enjoy having long-term progression. This is simply about transparency. A game shouldn’t require its community to reverse-engineer one of its core progression systems. And yes… we’ve been discussing this since launch. At this point, the only thing progressing slower than my Tech Level is the official explanation. 😄 EA, can we finally get some clarity?franciscorod37610 days agoSeasoned Newcomer176Views2likes5Comments
