Traversal stutter on PC
The PC version suffers from traversal stuttering, moving to new areas very often causes the game to stutter, this can also happen randomly from my experience. I have read 100s of reports on ResetEra and Reddit, it is not a hardware issue. [Old Report] PC BUG REPORT: Cannot spend Ration Seals.
Let me explain what happened from start to finish. I accessed the DLC menu for the first time at a workbench. I was checking it out and scrolling through the different menu's. I found the page where you spend ration seals. There was only 1 option for some kind of elite package that required 30 rations. I only had 27, so obviously I didn't have enough so I closed the menu and kept playing the game. I find another workbench, after I finally get 30 ration seals. Here's the bug: The ration seal option is simply gone now. I cannot spend my 31 rations as the option itself simply isn't there in the DLC menu at any workbench I've accessed in the game. I've tried 4 or 5 different workbench and none of them allow me to spend my 31 ration seals because the option is no longer available. It's simply gone from the menu's and it only has real-money options (Which I do not support and will never spend real money on, F.Y.i). -Edit- 60% game completed now, 90+ Ration Seals and I still cannot spend them. Why is there no word from developers about this ??? I did a Live-chat with EA support and they told me to report this here, as a bug.Welcome to the Dead Space boards on AHQ!

[HOW TO] Resolve "Release Date Check Failed" error
Greetings everyone, For those of you encountering a "Release Date Check Failed" error message when attempting to play, please follow the steps below: If you are installing from the Origin Client, we have published a new build for you. Please uninstall and reinstall once more. If you are using the DVDs to install, please download the linked file corresponding to your version of the game: Dead Space 2 (World Wide Release) Dead Space 2 (German Release) Next copy this file from your downloads into your installation folder and replace the existing deadspace2.exe file. If you are still encountering this exact issue afterwards, please create an Origin Error Report ID and post its ID as highlighted in red in the spoiler below into a new thread. If you are encountering another issue, please create a new thread and describe your issue in as much detail as possible. Thank you, NilsDead Space 3 achievement "Brave new world"
In game "Dead Space 3. Limited Edition" (PC) doesn't work receiving achievement "Brave New World". I got all achievements in game for 100%, but the general achievement didn't work. In "Origin" progress of 58/59 achievements is shown. Here you can see a thread about that bug and a lot of people, who are disappointed with that situation. But it still not fixed after 2 years. And support told me some information, that this is something that can not be fixed, as this is something which is programmed and can not be solved. The game is already dead. But maybe that problem can be solved by another way? Can it be deleted from Origin achievements? If the answer is "yes" and it's possible to do, then I suggest to Origin developers to remove achievement "Brave New World" from Origin Dead Space 3 achievement section by another Origin update.
Video logs not replaying/Database Interface not showing
Hey folks, You may run into a minor issue when playing where video logs may not replay or the Database interface won't show. If this happens you can get it working again by either loading a save game or by picking up a text or audio log in game.Dead Space - Developer Live Streams
Hi Everyone! I wanted to stop in and share the Livestreams the Developers at Motive have been doing for the Dead Space remake. They shared some interesting information about their progress on designing the audio and different systems that control Isaac's different states. I am a MacBook M1 Pro user, and unfortunately, Dead Space Remake (DSR) is unavailable on my platform. As I play most of my games through cloud services (e.g., GeForce Now) I'm wondering if DSR will make its way there. Update: Tried the game via Parallels and Crossover using Steam, and the game did not open, so I got a refund. Common EA, please make the game accessible to MacBook users via a cloud service (e.g., Geforce Now, Boosteroid)
Dead Space 3 Door Sound Bug/Glitch?
I've just started playing the game and have landed on the ship where Ellie is supposidly trapped. Every door where you must use kenesis on to open makes some constant aweful ticking sound comparable to a high-pitched jackhammer. It also randomly replays some hydraulic sound when I move away from it that doesn't sound like it's intentional. Edit: I've just confirmed that the sound is the hydraulic sound being replayed constantly very quickly. Sometimes it'll stop if I move away from it for a second or two then it begins back up again. My PC is far above the required specs in every aspect and the only changes I've made in my config is disabling vsync to get smoother gameplay. Although I've tried enabling vsync which very slightly alters the sound, but still results in the same constant ticking.
