We gather all this feedback and give it to the studio. I hope you understand that we are not able to answer and provide updates to every bug you report in this topic. Dead Space 3 Door Sound Bug/Glitch?
I've just started playing the game and have landed on the ship where Ellie is supposidly trapped. Every door where you must use kenesis on to open makes some constant aweful ticking sound comparable to a high-pitched jackhammer. It also randomly replays some hydraulic sound when I move away from it that doesn't sound like it's intentional. Edit: I've just confirmed that the sound is the hydraulic sound being replayed constantly very quickly. Sometimes it'll stop if I move away from it for a second or two then it begins back up again. My PC is far above the required specs in every aspect and the only changes I've made in my config is disabling vsync to get smoother gameplay. Although I've tried enabling vsync which very slightly alters the sound, but still results in the same constant ticking. Let me explain what happened from start to finish. I accessed the DLC menu for the first time at a workbench. I was checking it out and scrolling through the different menu's. I found the page where you spend ration seals. There was only 1 option for some kind of elite package that required 30 rations. I only had 27, so obviously I didn't have enough so I closed the menu and kept playing the game. I find another workbench, after I finally get 30 ration seals. Here's the bug: The ration seal option is simply gone now. I cannot spend my 31 rations as the option itself simply isn't there in the DLC menu at any workbench I've accessed in the game. I've tried 4 or 5 different workbench and none of them allow me to spend my 31 ration seals because the option is no longer available. It's simply gone from the menu's and it only has real-money options (Which I do not support and will never spend real money on, F.Y.i). -Edit- 60% game completed now, 90+ Ration Seals and I still cannot spend them. Why is there no word from developers about this ??? I did a Live-chat with EA support and they told me to report this here, as a bug.
Traversal stutter on PC
The PC version suffers from traversal stuttering, moving to new areas very often causes the game to stutter, this can also happen randomly from my experience. I have read 100s of reports on ResetEra and Reddit, it is not a hardware issue. I literally built this PC yesterday so everything is fresh. https://streamable.com/ga6zlg I have uploaded a video showing 100% reproducible stutter when entering a new area, this is not an isolated instance. 13700k/3080/32GB DDR5 6200MHZ, NVMe SSD, Win 10 ProDead space 3 is not showing in the My Games section
I paid for dead space 3 yesterday and have the email to prove it now on this email it says to go to origins my game section to download it and when I go there I can not see my game is there anything to be able to see it and actually get the game I have paid for
(PC) Scavenger Bot Missing...
Title says it all, I had gotten to the part of the game where you pick up the scavenger bot. Used it a few times. Joined a friends game where they hadn't received it yet so when I saw I didn't have it then, I assumed that was the reason. Left their game and continued my solo game and it wasn't in the weapons menu... So replayed begining of chapter to get to that point again thinking I could just get it again, and when Isaac picks it up........it isn't even in the weapons select menu..... Bought all of the scavenger bot DLC right before game release, wonder if this might have something to do with it... I'm hours into the game on this save file so I really, really don't want to have to start a whole new game due to this stupid bug...
PC Performance (FPS drops, Stuttering)
The game urgently needs a patch that improves performance, the game is not perfect, periodically serious lags, between transitions to the second chapter, fps just drops to 10 fps. The sound is very quiet, when loading saves, the game sometimes just freezes tightly, you have to forcibly turn it off through the task manager.
