Can't customize online character
Product: Need for Speed: Unbound Platform:PlayStation 5 Summarize your bug Can't customize online character How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. What happens when the bug occurs? Can't equip anything on the character I chose. Some of the other models work but everything gets reverted when I leave the garage. What do you expect to see? To be able to customize my character. I chose the last character but I didn't customize it when I started online, just jumped straight in. After awhile I partied up with a friend then decided to customize after a few races but I couldn't select anything on my character and I couldn't change to some of the other characters. Some of the other models worked but every time I leave the garage it goes back to the default character. IT'S FIXED
SAVE GAME ERROR/PROGRESS RESET
Greetings, Lane Changers! With the release of our recent January patch we have introduced an in game prompt for when the game cannot successfully save to your desired location. We would like to provide you with further details on this message and what you should expect. Early on during your game session the game will make an attempt to save your current progress. Should you receive the ‘Unable to save file.’ prompt, the game has attempted to auto save and has encountered an issue. If you see this error message pop up during gameplay, the game has stopped saving any new progression to avoid overwriting the last verified autosave. If you have encountered this message your progress is not saved nor will it be for this session. Please manually close the game app, turn on your engines and continue playing your progression prior to the previous session. The team continues to investigate the issue as well as ways to mitigate potential game save corruption and progression loss. Thank you for your reports to help us track this and we'll update the Known Issues thread with a status update as it comes through.

Greetings, Lane Changers! We're building out this list to update you on Known Issues we're tracking for NFS Unbound. Where workarounds are available, we'll list them here. Please note: This is not a be-all-end-all definitive list, but as we collect issues, triage them with the team, and confirm, we'll update. And as we get them fixed, we'll remove them from the list. How do I report a bug or issue? Check the Known Issues list below just in case we are already tracking it, while this list may not be the definitive full list, we will keep it updated. If the issue isn't reported below, please visit our NFS Unbound Bug Section to report it. If you've experienced an account-related issue, please get in touch with us via EA Help. Note: we will continue updating this thread so you know where to go in case you come across an issue. ____________________________________ Flashing/Blinking Display - High End PCs We've seen reports of Flashing/Blinking Display issues with folks on high-end PCs (Nvidia RTX 40-series). After testing, we've found a solution is to upgrade the motherboard BIOS. Please refer to your motherboard manufacturer’s support page to obtain the latest system BIOS. If you continue to experience this issue - please report this via the Bug Reports section with details about your system (CPU, make/model of your graphics card, driver dates, video card bios/firmware. Previously, the fix was incorrectly listed as a graphics card VBIOS update. _____________________________________ PS5 Dualsense Controllers on PC We're tracking an issue with PS5 Dualsense Controllers on PC. We currently do not have an official fix, but have noted players using the DS4Windows tool have found a workaround. Please note: this is a 3rd party tool and not officially supported. Please ensure you read all documentation for the DS4Windows tool before proceeding. (You may have to disable DS4Windows after playing to avoid any unanticipated conflicts with other programs.) _____________________________________ Item Synchronization Issue We tracked an issue with item desynchronization affect some NFS Unbound players. After investigation, we've resolved the desync issue and this should not be affecting any players. _____________________________________ Palace Upgrade Not Working Working with partners at Valve, Epic, and our EA app, we've resolved an issue affecting players being able to purchase the Palace Upgrade. _____________________________________ EA Play Reward BMW M3 2006 Not Available We’re tracking an issue with the rewarding of the BMW M3 2006 for EA Play subscribers on Steam. Our teams are diligently working to identify the cause of the issue and resolve it as soon as possible. We will update this post here as information becomes available. _____________________________________ Do Not Delete Your Saved Game File Your Save File contains both your Single player and Multiplayer Save Data. Deleting your save data will permanently lose any progress you’ve made in both modes. _____________________________________ Missing Pre-Order Items (NFS Unbound Purchase via 3rd Party Retailer) If you pre-ordered your copy of NFS Unbound from a 3rd party retailer (not digitally via Xbox, PlayStation, Epic, Steam, or EA), any codes for pre-order content should be on the receipt from the retailer or via email if ordered online. Please ensure you follow up with your retailer if you pre-ordered but did not receive your codes.
My Cop car is in slow motion in Hot Pursuit playlists
Product: Need for Speed: Unbound Platform:PC Summarize your bug Every time I try a HP playlist my cop car is in slow motion. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It seems random, based on people's device. I have seen at least one other person in the semi-official NFS discord report it. What happens when the bug occurs? As a racer, i could drive like normal. But as a cop, my car is in slow motion. The engine, steering, even gravity are at about half speed. It seems that the slomo triggers around one second after i start, because i get a normal looking kick at the starting line. What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to drive my cop car to drive at full capacity. attaching my dxdiag file to maybe help in diagnostics.
Online race invite interupts customisation & purchases in garage.
Product: Need for Speed: Unbound Platform:PC Summarize your bug When purchasing a new vehicle or customising your current car in the garage, the online race invite popup blocks the customisation options or cars stats. This means the player has to wait every time they are invited to a race or exit the back to the main menu to continue their purchasing or customisation activity. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? - Go into an online lobby - Go into the car shop to purchase a new ride. - wait for a race invitation - and then have "fun" trying to read the car stats while it is blocked by the online race invite. What happens when the bug occurs? You cannot read the car stats or see some of the customisation options. What do you expect to see? The invite to be in a location that allows me to continue my car puchasing or customisation activities in online. - only requires a ui location change. The actual functions seem to work ok. 
Game don't want to start/Crash at launch
Product: Need for Speed: Unbound Platform:PC Summarize your bug Game crashes seconds after launching, when I launched the game for the first time I made it to the car selection screen then once I chose my car it crashed. After the first crash it would keep crashing everytime I would launch the game How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes seconds after launching. What do you expect to see? The game loading in. (updated title to be more clear) - Atic
DX12 Error
Hi Guys, having a bad time with your new NFS Game. Unfortunately my game crashs during Gameplay with the attached DX12 Error. Error comes 100% after about 1 to 8 Minutes of gaming. I am running the New ASUS 4080 RTX Win10 Pro 64 10.0 Build 19045 MSI - 7a63 Board i7-7700K 16k RAM I already tried: - Clean reinstall of my Graphic Card Driver (Game Ready) - Studio Driver - Underclock my GPU - Turn off XMP in my Bios - Windows Update / Update all my drivers - Ultra/lowest Graphic Settings ingame - Memory Test 0% Errors Am I the only one having this kind of issues right now? Please help 🙂 Thanks!! Possible workaround for ultra wide screen users till we hopefully get a fix in a future patch. I can confirm working condition with no DX Hung Errors with lowering resolution to <3440x1440. Played for > 1 hour with no crashes till now.
$150000 multiplayer bonus missing
I pre orderd the nfs unbound palace edition and I got everything except the 150000 Dollard your supposed to get in multiplayer I laughed it today and nothing I played a little still nothing and I even tried uninstalling the content and reinstalling it still nothing I want what I paid for I've had enough of this from ea if anyone has any idea what to do please let me know
PS5 Controller support on PC
The game is unplayable to the sense that you cannot rebind anything on the ps5 controller when on this game. Connecting though steam and setting up a config doesnt resolve the issue further. Loading into the game X on the ps5 or A on xbox for the main action button is R2 on the ps5 controller. camera is always facing down and looking backwards when booting into the game. Unplayable state on launch when heat worked like butter.NFS Unbound Error Code 6 & Error Code 9: "Unable to save file"
All of my cars are loading up without the wraps I designed on them.When I go to re-add the wrap for each car, I get an error saying "Unable to save file.Your progress will not be stored.Please check our support pages for more help.Error Code:6. (Retry or Ignore)".
