What's the current status of matchmaking in NHL 25?
After having read a bunch of threads about the problems with matchmaking in NHL 25, I would like to hear from members of the community. What is your experience today? Do you find online versus matches in online mode, HUT and CHEL? I have no chance in finding matches and opponents in none of the online modes at all. I first thought it might be because I am using Microsoft GamePass Ultimate with CloudGaming, but then I realized that it might be a problem for console players as well. Connection Issues September 2025
Console: Playstation 5 Ive been trying to play games since yesterday and Ive gotten multiple errors when loading into World of Chel, or when joining invites. Ive gotten multiple Game Configuration Errors when the game is loading when I do finally get into a dressing room. Ive had to resign the terms of service at least 3 times and reselect settings and choose from an option that says "continue without saving". NHL community full of racists, EA condones it.
"Our well-trained, dedicated team reviewed your report, and didn't take action" Every single time I have reported a eashl club name, or their players for clearly racist names (often bypassing the naming filter), I receive an email indicating that I must be crazy. Acronym club: KFC Eashl players: all black, Player names: Neigh - *** (you get the rest) If you play enough World of Chel, you will see this like once a day, sometimes more. It's absolutely embarrassing that EA lets me know a human reviewed this example and deemed it totally fine. It's pretty **bleep** appalling. Remember a couple years back when they made a big push for positive play culture? How does matchmaking work during club finals?
I was just wondering if you could explain any changes to matchmaking during club finals. Is the player base split between the cups? We are a lower win percentage team (high 30s low 40s) but we are in the Elite Cup, and during club finals we basically are only getting matched against teams in the 60-80% win percentage range. I bought NHL25 this week. I have around 50+ ranked club online games. On all 3 stat tracker websites (ea.com, chelstats, and chelhead, it only shows I have 0 or 1 games played, it looks like it is glitched and hasn't updated for days. I had 1200 games in NHL24 and never had any issues. I have cleared saved game data, restarted and all of that. tech support was unable to assist. Any thoughts? Generated Player Headshots for Franchise Mode?
Hey EA_Aljo quick question for you. Do you know if there are any plans in the future to support player generated headshots in NHL 25, NHL 26 or at some point beyond? As a mostly offline player, it would help with immersion if you could see something there, I know there is already kinda something for the coaches, and in other EA franchises (like College Football 25), just wanted to know if we could expect that? Punch Turns
Can we please add punch turns to NHL 26? I love the addition of mohawks with L2. It would be awesome to add a punch turn with the input of L2 + Square/X or something like that. Just like mohawks, punch turns are a pivotal move in the modern game of hockey. So many players work on this skill constantly and utilize in games. Great examples are in corners or entering the zone on the wing and hitting a punch turn on the half wall to scan for lanes. Thanks for always being open to advice! Change the world of chel playoff format:
Been long time user. I want EA to bring back the best out of three instead of making it a series of games for the club finals. I just view it a waste of time in some case because sometimes people don’t make it that far. Also, recommendation: Change the flames goalie pads in the game we don’t use black C anymore. Question marks on player overall and stats
I just finished a season on franchise mode and went into the draft. Everyone in the draft who has been picked by the teams have question marks on their stats. How do you fix this? Single Pixel on Back of Jersey - NYR
Hello, franchise mode user only - here. I have noticed for the NYR (not sure of any other teams) when playing as the NYR no matter which version of jersey chosen, during puck drop when the player leans in to get the drop, you will see this single red pixel on the back of the jersey on the left and/or right side, depending on your lean. I noticed this since (not the very last update, but) the update before this last one. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this? I just got nhl and I just wanna be able to enter the auctions but since I need to complete the training challenges I will never be able to because I have to win 3 rivalries in online and with a 80 rated team and no skill it will be impossible. Haven't received my elite rank rewards
Although I got my track pants, I haven't received my elite ranking jersey, or any other elite rewards. I finished 3v3 EASHL with a ranking of elite 3. This is my first time being elite, so I don't have any elite ranking rewards. I am aware that season 4 just started, but last season I got my diamond ranking jersey in no time and without a problem.
