Cities of Tomorrow Expansion Pack not Showing up in 'Owned Add Ons' section
Case #199104592 I've been sent to post here from EA Help as they couldn't help. I redeemed a physical code for SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow around 8-10 years ago on the EA app (Origin at the time). The issue is that Cities of Tomorrow isn't coming up as an 'owned add-on'. This doesn't affect gameplay however as SimCity still loads all Cities of Tomorrow content fine most of the time (it does play up sometimes). The issue affects any computer I install SimCity on so I think it could be some issue related to my account? I've cleared the EA App cache, restarted computer, reinstalled EA App and SimCity (many times), tried redeeming the code again (EA app says it's already been redeemed). Although this doesn't affect gameplay now as I can still access Cities of Tomorrow content no problem, I just want the EA app to reflect that I own this add-on to prevent any issues in the future. Problemas para entrar no sim city (2013)
Boa noite! Estou tendo problemas para entra no Sim City (2013) versão completo, comprei o jogo e fiz o download, só que no momento em que vou entrar aparece CÓDIGO DE ERRO SMCY-2: Erro na atualização ou então quando entra no jogo fica travado na parte inicial com o Bem-vindo de volta e não vai para lugar nenhum, não deixa eu fazer o tutorial do jogo. Já reiniciei o computador, tentei reparar o aplicativo lá no EA e também tentei mudar o modo de compatibilidade, mas também não funcionou. Queria saber como faço para resolver esse problema.
Can't Get Past SimCity 2013 Launcher
I'll launch it from the EA app, it says whatever about permissions and then the launcher opens and says its got an update to do. Update finishes and it says that my network connection is not connected(which makes no sense since it just downloaded an update but whatever). Tells me I have to reload into Singleplayer which is fine and all I want to do anyway. Well the problem is that when I click single player and the launcher restarts, it just redownloads the update again and the cycle continues. I'm on Windows 11 now, but pretty sure I had this game running on this machine at some point when I was on Windows 10.Problems with starting the game.
I downloaded the full version of Sim city. I have problems with starting the game. I get a message on the screen that says "Failed to allocate graphics resource. Sim City will not exit (1008). What is wrong and what do I have to do to make it start. I have a strong gaming computer so it should be able to fix this.

See attachments. I run as a user on Windows 11 pro 23H2, so need to give explicit permission to run as administrator. Running the EA app as administrator gives the same result. I also tried running the simcity.exe file as administrator, but the same error messages appear, so no difference. I tried uninstalling the EA app and reinstalling, same result. Also tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling the game, same result. The crazy thing is this game ran fine on this machine earlier and I haven't changed anything. Maybe there's been an update from Microsoft or EA that made it stop working? The machine is a powerful modern PC with: 128GB RAM, 12 core 24 threads Ryzen 9 5900X, Radeon RX 6900XT GPU The machine specification has staid the same since it was working. No new components have been installed.
SimCity won't launch. EA failed to launch error.
I have tried launching the game on two different accounts that own the title. I have reinstalled EA, reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, turned off the firewall, run as admin, logged out of EA and back in, run some kind of command prompt thing, nothing works. I am super frustrated that I am not able to play a game that I paid money for.weekly tasks
There is a problem with the weekly tasks in the Mayor's Pass.I completed the weekly tasks, but I didn't claim them.When I started to undertake another weekly task(epic building),All the weekly tasks that I have completed have been refreshed.But my competition score didn't increase.The tasks that I didn't claim disappeared, and a new weekly task was displayed instead. Moreover, it also wasted all of my weekly task attempts.I simply can't stand this situation. I hope the problem can be resolved immediately.
SimCity 4 Deluxe does not launch or crashes
I solved this issue by locating the SimCity .exe file and changing the compatibility mode of the game to Windows 8. Instructions: Since I have the game on Steam, I navigated to the game executable in \Steam\steamapps\common\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps Right-click on SimCity 4.exe and select Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab. Under the Compatibility mode dropdown, select Windows 8. Click OK. Start the game. Edit: I paused the game, built some basic power, water and zoning, unpaused, and then the game crashed and wouldn't recover. ☹️ edited title for clarity: @BlackjackWidow
Help with SimCity (2013)
Everytime I try to launch the game, it simply doesn't launchs! It stays on this same screen! When I try to launch from the desktop shortcut, simply nothing happens! I really wanted to play the game again, but this really disappointed me. I spent money on this, and I want to have access to the game I paid for!
Unable to Activate SimCity (2013)
Trying to launch the SimCity game from EA app, but getting the following activation error. I've confirmed the product key shows up in the EA app. I've reinstalled the EA app & the game. I've deleted the content in the 'Licenses' folder. I've tried App Recovery & repairing the game. Nothing has worked so far. Any ideas? Hello EA! I have problem with Simcity 2013 Complete Edition, i have miss some DLC in my library like Cities of Tomorrow and Heroes and Villains Set, EA app show me only standart edition and i must buy the DLC again, but i alredy purchase the Complete Edition. But the Cities of Tomorrow in game is properly activated the Heroes and Villains Set is missed in game. That problem i have from January 9 2024, I update the EA app regularly, reinstalled the game many times and cleared the cache, but it does not help. I contacted the support service, but they did absolutely nothing, I have been waiting for a solution to this problem for almost a year and a half, how much longer should I wait for this problem to be solved?SimCity Societies Destinations does not load
Hello So, it's not a new topic but since none of previous solutions work im starting new discussion. When launching simcity societies from app , or from all diffrent exe apps in folder ,destinations addon content just doesn't show up. I've literally tried every solution, copying shortcuts, moving destinations folder etc none of it works. Back when origin was running destinations were seperate game you could launch, maybe making it seperate game on ea app and not an addon could fix this problem.
Make new Game on Mobile and Desktop with much more fun
The game is limited compared to PC version from 2013 because of lacking a lot of features like adjusting bridge hight build tunnels and much more like upgradable Buildings and have options for Farming fishing Military Bases and have zones for defense from attacks from other players and have a huge look at map where we see players nearby and exchange Electricity power water and more and all from real work country specializations and Old SimCity PC games so please make a new game available on Mobile and if possible also on PC with Cross play with all those possibilities and more from in depth gameplay for each aspect of buildings and highly detailed visuals and enhanced graphics and animations as well as vibrant colors and options to adjust graphics based to prefer Graphics or Performance
