Game Security Violation Detected (#00000000D) [ROGLiveService.exe]

Looked around to find if this issue had been resolved already. I figure the game has been out since October of 2019 so, I would like to think this came up already with a fix and I just couldn't find where it was posted.

Easy Anti-Cheat  -  Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [ROGLiveService.exe]

Obviously my ASUS ROG Services Updates has somehow been mistakenly taken for a Game Cheat of some kind?
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me how the ROGLiveService Folder with the .exe file can cause a Easy Anti-Cheat issue.
Online Search

ROGLiveService.exe is part of ROG Live Service and developed by ASUSTek COMPUTER INC. according to the ROGLiveService.exe version information.

ROGLiveService.exe's description is "ASUS ROG live and updating service"

ROGLiveService.exe is digitally signed by ASUSTEK COMPUTER INCORPORATION.

ROGLiveService.exe is usually located in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ROG Live Service\' folder.

None of the anti-virus scanners at Virus Total reports anything malicious about ROGLiveService.exe.
COuld someone PLEASE direct me to the fix link for this. Thank You

  • Hey @JahmenMyst

This is something we've been seeing since the game launched, and it's not exclusive to Apex Legends. Easy Anti-Cheat catches ROG Live Service and other similar software, but as far as the specific details as to why that's the case I'm afraid we don't really have any visibility.

It might be best to try reaching out to EAC support directly to see if they can offer any additional insight as to why these types of programs are getting flagged. In the meantime I'm afraid I can only recommend disabling the program before you launch Apex Legends to get past the error.
