exactly what the title says, but i contacted support and gave email and code sent to my email but they couldnt do anything.
Is there no other way? i provided everything i needed and if i didnt ill provide even more but they didnt ask for anything more just said that theres nothing they can do.

You would not be able to link a second Xbox account to the same EA account, even if you remove the first one.
after 6 months am i then able to unlink the xbox account and link it to my original xbox email/user again? or not since lifetime

Just to clarify, the 6-month period is how long you'd have to wait before unlinking the same platform from an EA account. The lifetime portion is relating to a specific EA account. You're only able to link one of each other platform (Xbox, Steam, PlayStation, etc.) to an EA account. If you just linked an Xbox account here, you wouldn't be able to unlink it for 6 months.
Even after that 6 months is up however, you wouldn't be able to attach a different Xbox account as this EA account was already linked to one Xbox account - that's where the lifetime portion comes in.
If you've already spoken with support to see if they have any other options and they weren't able to make any changes, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to make any other changes on the forums either.
i misspoke in the post unfortunately, i linked my xbox account on accident not steam but i tried contacting support and all they said is that after 6 months the lifetime thing gets lifted aswell so im just wondering if it does? if not, is it not possible to contact them to unlink it for me manually? i really dont wanna lose all my progress because i linked it on accident
BookCurgers You can sign into your EA Account and unlink Steam, however you sadly won't be able to link a different Steam Account as the first one has a lifetime link to your EA Account.
if possible, just unlinking everything from my account so i can fix it all over again
