I'm also having this same issue with apex killing my network card around a minute after launch. I have the Mellanox ConnectX-3 Ethernet Adapter. I've tried updating the drivers for it, though that had no effect. The port in my motherboard lucky works, but it would be very nice for this to be fixed.
