@makura_kuroneko I play on switch as well, and have submitted several complaints on this issue. The only thing that makes it so I can play is to perform a full shutdown of the switch, powering it back on, and waiting for the wifi to connect before starting the app. To perform this, simply press and hold your power button until the device powers off, and then release. after 5 seconds, press the power button again to boot it up. Please note, that the shutdown / restart options in your power options will not work. Those do not purge the necessary caches to improve this issue. (Power Options are available when you press and hold the device's power button until the Sleep / Power Options menu appears)
Please also note that this rebooting method is one of the most aggressive, and therefore is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. I hope the devs fix this, but there is no sign that they are really taking it seriously. Hope this helps!
