So Apex after exiting to desktop wont close, I have already tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Verified Windows install etc.

Thank you this was the issue, I followed the guide that I have attached and also enabled memory integrity settings in the bios (check online for your motherboard settings as the name changes across brands and generations of boards)

Thank you so much for all your help with this, I thought this had resolved the issue but it's still happening.
Hopefully the issue is noticed soon by Respawn and Easy AntiCheat
It's mad, like between easy anticheat and Apex one or both are coursing massive clashes with running the game
Another large update and yet the issue is worse than before. within 1 hours of playing had to restart Apex multiple times. Out of that I have had 3 different times I have had no choice but to restart my computer as Apex/Easy Anti Cheat will not close. It cannot be stopped by steam and will not close if I use task manager to end Apex and/or Easy Anti cheat. Instead of adding stupid hoover boards please for the love of the game, fix this issue and the other issues around the servers and the cheaters. I am trying hard to hold onto that great game Apex can be but this sucks.
Go to windows security->device security, and enable core isolation (memory integrity)
